I've had this phone for a few months to and my main reasons for getting it was the amazing reviews the camera was getting, now I am a photographer unlike almost every RUclipsr posting reviews on this phone and I've gotta say the camera in manual mode is not what I was hoping for, if you adjust the shutter speed or iso the auto exposure engages, also the f number is also locked at f1.8, and of the three camera modes, simple, auto and manual, simple is by far the better one to use in low light. That's said I love the phone and have had no problems or issues with the 4k video, even was filming (panning) 300mph cars the footage is smooth as silk.

I currently have the G Flex 2 and HTC M9 that I swap back and fourth, the G4 should be almost identical to using my G Flex with the added value of an awesome camera and a more optimized UI, my G Flex preforms pretty damn awesome but it does have it's occasional lag moments.
I'm really pleased to hear you say that the Leather Case is more durable. I'm swaying between this, The Moto G, The Moto X Play and the OnePlus 2 as a change up/down/across from my iPhone 6. All of the latter have reasonably tough looking backs, but this doesn't, at least, not the plastic. Are you using a Screen Protector? I'm kind of looking to ditch the idea entirely of having any sort of protection on a phone..I know the OnePlus 2 comes with a Screen Protector installed, an idea, I really like..
on my third one... this phone sucks! It over hearts and the second week the left side freezes. Same happened to my second and I pray it don't happen again.
ok first off the G4 does have wireless charging you just have to buy the right back cover. second....battery life is really good....about as good as the G2 was. third....my 4K video looks really good and doesn't warp too bad.
I'm sad to hear it! For me it took five weeks and I didn't got a replacement phone. And there is a great chance that they're replacing it with a same bad one so expect the issue again.

+CLARIAN KEN you have to use a "fast charge" charger. i think 9volts and up is fast charging. 5 volts would be regular non fast charging. look on the plug itll say.
+Dontbeweakvato anything higher than 1.8 Amps is fast charging. Don't look at the Volts. They can mislead you. For example you get 5V AC current equivalent to 2.1 or 2.4 Amps but you can get 9V/12V at 2.0 Amps or even as low as 1.87 Amps. 2.4 Amps is the highest we have so far with Qualcomm QuickCharge 2.0.

I meant that I got the Leather cover separately on ebay. The Honor 6 is still good, but I cant tell if it still will be in 1.5 years. I would personally go with the G4, but both are good
+Nathan Morgan Pal was correct. However, what you can also do is to swipe down from the very top of the screen, then you wouldn't have to double tap, just a single swipe will do.
Yes but i don't have carriers like T-mobile or AT&T in my country, i would have to buy it at full price and the note 5 would be pretty expensive unless i wait till December/Jan but i don't have that much time waiting for a new mob

Compared to the G3, the G4 Increased the WIDTH, not BEZEL size, right? (I believe the bezel is actually smaller -- also narrower than any other phone, allowing for a 5.5" screen in the space of a typically smaller phone. A great design choice! Go with the leather. HTC's front-facing speakers rule. Hopefully soon, all companies will follow and people will wonder why anybody ever put speakers on the rear. Love and much prefer the hardware buttons that Samsung is still using. Otherwise, great features on the G4. Regarding the keyboard, I hate how iPhones don't include , or . on the main alpha page. LG includes . but not , So, I upgraded to a google keyboard from the PLAY store, and restored the , to the main page. Much better! Buying the G4 is a vote for keeping a replaceable battery and SD card. Buying an M9 is voting for front-facing speakers and high quality audio. Vote people! Hi please someone can helpme ......i brought G4 30 days ago and now i have one problem watching youtube or photos i can see one flash static or flicker on my rigth corner screen is fast maybe 1 sec and happen sometime no allways maybe 5 times a day :( .....this is software problem ? any idea ?
I was thinking the same thing, mine supports fast charging and wireless charging ,with the backs I got , he keeps going on about the scratches on the back , that is why you buy a cover, you also get wireless charging if you get the smart circle cover the second cover was the leather cover is supported wireless charging also , I think you just haven't figured it out yet, but the cover that you see on his phone is important do not throw it away because when you buy a case on phone you need that diamond-shaped plastic back on your phone a cover I fancy covers UK solar farm can only go on the fire with that plastic bag they will not fit over leather one , just a heads up there., /there is also the possibility that he just doesn't have the proper charger, I have sometimes used by other peoples charging brick and it took forever to charge , But when I got high home and used my own my phone charger it charged a quarter of the time,
+Darius K and M9 has much better UI (By miles), my only wish was the M9 had better color on display. Also the leather on G4 gets very dirty, almost the same as the small speaker holes on M9. Also i kinda dont like removable back ... it gets so dirty inside after a year. Swapping a battery is nonsense in time of power banks. And removing old battery is just a minor service fee anyway.
you're the problem with today's phones and why Samsung went the way of Apple. stop complaining about build quality. this phone has fantastic build quality and we don't need LG making the phone all metal and glass with no removable battery or sd card.

about the 4k video, use the cinema 4k app and you will boost the recording bitrate from 30Mbps to 200Mbps and it will make a huge difference.

for around $10 you can get Wireless charging on the phone it has the contacts just but the coil on amazon and stick it on the back

all g4's have quick charging. they just didn't say it on the box because the box did not come with a quick charger.

Well the G4 is much better, not sure if it's still good in 3 years though. I just got mine on eBay so maybe check there

You have to tap the screen two times and at the second tap, hold your finger on the sreen and scroll down with your finger

Akki Dn the touch issue was fixed with an update :) im traded my s6 edge for an g4 because the s6 memory is fucked up and it closes recent apps

Tony MTA Try see if there is an update available. If not then try formatting the mobile. If it persists then maybe you have a defective unit.

I had bootloop sent to technical service they hard resetted then i changed the battery and the problem was solved
