I see some people complaining about the chipset being dim 7300 and want a 7200 . But majority of people do not understand this is not sold as a high performance gaming based phone , its just a all rounder budget phone with some few major cons like missing headphone jack and nfc support, and only 1 speaker. This phone is perfectly alright for anyone who just looking for good allrounder budget phone.
Totally agree, the first thing I checked on the specs is NFC, I need a new budget phone to replace my old Galaxy S8+, this would have been perfect if it had NFC.
@@hexagonal7075 Phone 2a (12+256GB) is $599 AUD. CMF Phone 1 (8+126GB) is $399 AUD. Im probably the few that prefers expandable memory via sd card, 2a does not have expandable storage and the CMF Phone 1 does. So I have the dilemma, I cant have one without the other :(
It has no NFC, so it's a no from me.... even on a budget phone, I expect NFC for payments and I'd be willing to pay that very little bit extra for it. I think that's a glaring omission.
For a phone that cost around 200$ i think it's good enough. Yeah it lacks some things like ois,nfc, the chipset could be better but i guess it is more than enough
@@frostyjeff in terms of software 'nothing' is good and oxygen os also perform decent,but they don't focus on camera,most of people don't use ultrawide and they want to try telephoto along with a metal frame for the phone where they are paying $350+

Wish that screw at the bottom was a programable dial and button like on the buds case too. This is so close in terms of potential. Was thinking about going back to an iphone from pixel but if the nothing phone 3 has those, i might stay android. Unfortunately i think that will play it a little safer than the modding design.
You pay extra for the 2a’s arguably better design, built, the glyph lights, ultrawide camera, slightly better (to my eyes at least) and symmetrical display.
As a working adult, NFC is the #1 thing needed for every phone. Maybe only kids can use this phone because they just want to watch videos and play games? lol

No bloat , nothing os , design , customization both hardware and software based samoled dimensity 7300( rebranded but faster than 7050 so better if we consider based variant 6/128 compared to realme P1 fastest in that range)

I think they could've pushed a bit for more performance, but I understand that they're trying to keep it cheap to sell its uniqueness.
Any more performance and it would be cannibalizing the sales of the Nothing Phone 2a which wouldn't make sense.
