Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023: After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. 01:24 you could see how Gwen has a crush on Miles judging on the awkwardness when she met him and how she cringed at her action towards her. The whole conversation seemed awkward until she saw his drawings of her, slowly you could see her confidence and her awkwardness fades when she wears her mask
Ahhh good eye. Her awkwardness left and her confidence arose because she now knew that he felt the same way as her and so she could be herself a little more with him. Aka she didn’t really have to hold her affection and feelings towards him back

So many details in just the beginning of this scene alone. At the beginning when Miles opens his door, you can see boxing gloves. These represent the time when Miles was using the punching bag in Uncle Aaron's apartment in the first movie, showing how much Uncle Aaron still matters to him, in addition to the drawings in his sketchbook. Miles wears a jersey with 42 on it, like the spider that bit him from Earth 42. In Miles' drawing of Uncle Aaron, he's wearing a shirt that says "3Pac" as opposed to our universe's 2Pac. On the last page before Gwen closes the sketchbook, you can see the bus ticket from when Peter, Gwen, and Miles had to ride the bus home from the forest after being attacked by Doctor Octopus. Also, i couldn't spot it in this scene, but somehere in Miles' room there's a picture of Uncle Aaron and Miles' father, the same one that was in Uncle Aaron's apartment in the first film
Something else I noticed that I wanted to add, but I’ll add spoilers warning just in case.
The figurine that Gwen pulled out of the box looks like Prowler Miles, as they wear similar boots, gloves, jackets, and visors.

I love to call this scene Miles and Gwen’s romantic swinging I love this scene so much. I especially love this part 4:04 Miles being all ‘wait what’ when your crush mentions another guy and saying that she crashes at his dimension that does tend to make you think a lot of things it’s so real 😅
I saw a video about how Hobie was a representation of Miles's insecurities and how he got over them by the end of the movie when he saw Hobie was on his side when everyone else was against him.
I love how miles is trying to act cool in front of his soon to be girlfriend
So does Gwen but fails terribly. By mentioning his growth spurt and cringing.

The first minute or so of this whole scene is kind of breathtaking. The build of the music and things starting to float. You feel as if maybe Miles is so into his music he's feeling ethereal and maybe imagining things around him moving, but it's Gwen appearing from a portal.
Also the original song doesn't have as much impact as the song in this scene does to me. (Though it's still a good song by itself!)

I think when Gwen tells Miles that when Gwen falls for Spiderman it doesn't end well. I think she thinks of herself as Spiderman and Miles is Gwen. She's the jaded, isolated and hardened hero. And Miles is the optimistic innocent, who will suffer from his association with her like her Peter parker. She doesn't want to fall for Miles because she's afraid he'll die.

Which is part of the reason why she sounds so broken over the thought of him being crushed in spider india's universe. All of her fears and anxieties were coming true before her eyes, only for him to prove to her it was in fact all possible. There is a first time for everything.

Or Peter Parker and Gwen….that always has the canonically bad ending?
Cause if it’s the latter, that’s already happened in her universe.
That’s just it. Miles is different to Peter.
Which is why if miles and gwen do get together which they probably will. The ending would be satisfying rather than tragic.

I was completely shocked by that in the theater because that part was so drastically different from the trailer. I thought she was just gonna be all cool and aloof but in the final film they balanced both Gwen and Miles being in this cute little awkward crush panic mode lol.

God there's so many crunchy details showing now that this is in digital. Like at 3:30 and 4:15 I never noticed before but Miles' suit isn't just black, there's this super subtle blue section on his back and down the front. Gonna be going frame-by-frame to find all the neat little details for months.

I just had an interesting thought, what if universe didn’t collapse when the cannon broke because it was her dad making that choice on his own? Like she didn’t save him on her own accord, instead, she wasn’t even present, while he himself made the decision to quit being a cop.

Did anyone else notice the action figure Gwen opened looks similar to Earth 42 Prowler? I like to think the other Miles also had the same figure, and that’s what he designed his suit after.
They feelings are serious not only can she sense if he's in danger from an entire other universe (the movie shows this even if shes in a diffrent universe and world her spidey senses go off when Miles is in danger) but she traveled through a universe just to see him that's why she was the Spiderman to accept the mission just so she can see Miles also in every single universe that Gwen falls for Spiderman it always ends up with either him dieing or her dieing but in all those universes its always Peter, Miles Is legit the only SpiderMan from countless universes that Gwen could actually be with and the future may work out
