    Interesting. The protected vault type grave was to prevent grave robbing, I presume. And I also can see that the old log church must have been where you pointed to the indications of it's foundation.

      I was thinking it was to prevent vandalism. The grave was for the wife of the minister, so the minister was probably aware of grave vandalism in the area.

    I'm from Cowansville and drive by this cemetery all the time and have never stopped. My parents still live just up further on this road so now I'm going to stop and check it out. Thanks for the video, it was really interesting!

    Super interesting that you can see the outline of the old church foundation, gone but not forgotten! This was a super interesting cemetery tour!

      Yes, the foundation is definitely evident on the ground and being the first Log Church in Armstrong County is also very interesting too. Thanks for watching.

    Interesting… never seen that type of protection over a grave. Pretty cool stuff including Civil War soldiers. 👍🏼

      Good catch ! The EVP that I hear is more like 1:35 to just before the 40 mark, or maybe that's another EVP or the one that was talked about .
      Sounds to me like; " Who's that here?" Or: "It's me." Very hard to tell.
      In Tom's River, NJ across the street from the newer Court House is what's left of once a big cemitary but now very few can be seen across the street from the Court House.
      There used to be a church there. When the widened the road, the church was moved or distoryed, and a company was hired to move the graves. Like the Spielberg movie, many 'graves' were left and just the headstones were removed.
      Around 6 pm I got a very clear EVP of a distressed Irish or Scottish woman saying; " Where's me headstone? I con't find me headstone! Where's me headstone..."
      So I did some research and find out about how the headstones/&graves were 'soposed' to be moved. Maybe that's why the sprite was so distressed. Very sad.
      The Courthouse down the street is from the 1800's & is haunted. Sometimes if you take pics of it from outside a sprite of a well dresses older man can be seen staireing at you.
      I've got lots of sprite pics on my channel that I'll get back to one day cause I've got many more to post, esp. from Gettysburg.
      The sprite of that nasty lady that ran that orphanage with the chilred that she was so mean too hates me, cause I stand up to her and to let those sprite children go. Her nasty side kick older boy is still there too. I guess they're afraid to go into the light, but who knows. 🤘👻💖

    - I would've been afraid that last one would have filled up with water, must be some kind of weep holes on the sides (?)

    • @DoortotheAbandoned
      @DoortotheAbandoned  Год назад +2

      Not sure , we didn't see any kind of drain holes at least from the ground level and up , but they could be just under the ground level too if it has some. Thanks for watching.
