Fantastic vid. Thanks for taking us along. There was probably a switch at the tunnel mouth for the second set of tracks that crossed the bridge.💯🇺🇸
Journey With Jay Brought me here
Cool vid, thanks for sharing. Where's it located?😎💯👍
Maybe it was mean't to be a crib for the baby girl.
That is a very interesting take on it. Thanks for the comment.
Nice to see young people with an interest
Richard Jennings founded the Armstrong Run Oil Company
Thanks for the info. Did some reading on the Armstrong Run Oil Company and the early days of the oil boom in this area after I saw your comment. Thanks again very interesting.
Where is this?
Where is this located?

Jay it's part 2 of the video we did 2 yrs ago but I've been pressing Brent about getting one up because it's been a long freaking time. He had this one in the computer so. We are going to start uploading more often and get back in the swing of RUclips 😂
Snowshed
Keep the train from derailing off the bridge
👍
New subscriber, browsing your vids, and recognize almost every one of the locations 😂 ! Me and my son do the same type of exploring, (nw pa resident) and travel that way alot. You guys every want to come out our way, we've got a few interesting spots around here not well known at ALL, and pretty epic... (Closer than rockland) speaking of rockland, the tinnel has a secret... Thats reaallllly interesting...
Thank you and thanks for watching. The Rockland Tunnel secret sounds very interesting. Might catch you out there sometime if we head north.
Would the initials for the location be W.W. ? Quite few in that area, one used as a dancehall WAAAAAY back when...! (Nw pa dweller, howdy nieghbor lol)
They shuld.make it into a cyclist walkers/dogs joggers
Very interesting to see how you make the stones and the history emerge from the brush. Thank you.
I love abandoned old train tunnels/lines,they always have such a eerie vibe to them!
Yes, and they are an important ,interesting piece of our history. Thanks for watching.
Um Did you take a Geiger counter with you? Many of those abandoned tunnels are radiologically contaminated thanks to Manhattan project and Project Pelican
No, we don't have one of those. Never heard about any radioactive contamination will have to study up on that. Thanks for watching.
@@DoortotheAbandoned Sometimes things are abandoned for a reason. I would suggest an investment in dosimeter and geiger counter
Love the photography. Thanks.
Thank You 👍
Great explore ! Thanks for sharing
You know a video going to be good when a chick is sphere heading the path! Just saying 😎
This would make a nice bicycle trail if it was fixed up a little.
Yes it would, you never know they may do something like that in the future. We have been thru a few that they have done that with. The good thing about that is when they do that the tunnels and old railbeds get preserved for future generations.
The gate with it's amazing creepy sound would fit into any opening scene of a horror movie.
Yea, that's exactly what it reminded us of when we heard it.
Very nice. As you were going across the trestle I was thinking that if it is very windy it would be a little (to say the least) unnerving to walk very far out. Nice work. I enjoyed this very much.
Yes exactly, when we were out on it the wind did pick up quite a bit and started blowing us around that's when we turned back. You don't want to lose your balance up on one of those.
Would be great project for locals to clean out?
I agree, but you know how it is these days. Its a shame ,but Its hard enough just getting people to show up for work even when they are getting paid.
Tempelton, any tie to local town?
I was nervous just watching you walk out on the trestle.
Yea, on some of those old abandoned trestles you really have to watch where you step. Thanks for watching.
The stone fence and iron gate were so cool! Great find, thank you for sharing!
Your welcome, and thanks for watching.
COOL FIND ! Nice machete work !
Thank You. We just didn't want to leave it that way ,wanted to at least get the Tombstones uncovered, felt like the right thing to do.
@@DoortotheAbandoned You're good people. Thank you
Once again, very cool and well detailed video. That still water is beautiful and creepy at the same time. I am enjoying the videos I've seen so far, can't wait to see what other adventures you have on your channel. Best, Steve
Thanks for watching and coming along.
Just discovered your channel tonight and I'm glad I did! That was definitely a cool and creepy journey through that old tunnel. I wonder how far you could have made if you had a raft? That is if the water was deep enough. Thanks again and I'll be sure see your other videos. Best, Steve
Yea, I think we will have to make a return trip to that one to investigate further. Thanks for watching.
god bless you!
Pleasure to see you exploring again ! 👍
You brought the right tool for the job! Aint nobody seen those stones in a while! That gate sounded like an orchestra from hell!Glad to see you guys back at it!
Thanks Bud
Just checkin in to see how everyone is doing..bump bump😊
Thanks for checking in Bud we are doing fine. We have been getting out pretty much every weekend getting footage. Got a bunch of vids to put out, got to quit Dragging my a$$ and get them put up ha ha . We have been busy though. Been keeping our eyes on You and Phil you guys have been doing some awesome stuff.
Thanks,Ill be looking forward to that.Phil is the man!!
Love it Girls n Guys... Keep On Keeping On
I remember that tunnel as a teenager, when I used to visit family out there. Many years since I have been there. Great channel.
Thank You.
Were from Pittsburgh and love Snyder Cemetery
They wasted money on rentals gas over time ect
Who was the rail road company that supplied the coal for the coal burning plant?
The Pittsburgh and Shawmut Rail Road Co.
This is a “Through Truss” type bridge
The center rails across the trestle is to prevent derailed cars from getting out of the railbed completely so they do not tumble or possibly fall off the trestle
They often say that residual energy is present..if a person passed away unexpectedly.. could the shadow man be a person who was killed during construction.. or an accident in the tunnel
Cost roi lol those are the questions that come to mind.
Yes, I am pretty sure it would have cost a lot less to build than a conventional train tunnel and as far as I know it served its purpose and is still there today. So as far as ROI is concerned I would say it was a win win.
Does this tunnel have a name? I can't seem to find anything else about it beside this video
We have not found anything on the official name either. Thanks for watching.
