I remember that tunnel as a teenager, when I used to visit family out there. Many years since I have been there. Great channel.

As I recall.....there are 6 tunnels on the line from Templeton to Brookville. You've covered 2 of them now. The north end of the line is still in place. The spur to Punxsutawney still exists on the end, crosses Route 119 just north of Sheetz in Punxsy. You also have a few nice bridges. FWIW, the B&P didn't need this section anymore after they acquired the P&S, as it has the line that somewhat parallels it. Runs from Punxsy to Pitt. Crosses the Allegheny below Templeton. Follow the rail and you'll see it connects to the Reesedale tracks. Keep doing your thing.

That ridge line looked awfully level. What's on the top? Great exploring of railroad related items.
Help it up & listen for the Rhythms of the Railroad!

It's exciting to find places like this... so cool adventure and exploration. This tunnel looks solid strong, I wonder why it was abandoned.

Basically, the Coal fired Power Plant just down the Line was Shut Down so there was no longer a need for this section of the Line. Thanks for watching.
