They need in my opinion a black out screen to so when you don't want the sun to come through you make it dark but that's just my opinion :) Good video it's helping me choose if I need it or not
Hi mate good vid. I have the ST with pano roof and it does have global closing. Lock the car as normal and then press and hold for a few more seconds on the key fob and then it’ll close. If yours doesn’t do it then take it back to the dealer. 👍🏻
Hey Anthony, sorry for the slow reply but I can concur Global closing is in full effect, I think it wasnt working when i did the video because the Aux power had probably gone off due to the time delay from exiting the car messing around with camera shots etc. Thanks for sharing the info and hoe your enjoying your MK8 ST

Thanks, yeah the hose deffo has increased the noise from the Milltek exhaust and yeah I saw the spacers the other day too considering them at mo and yeah will keep the vids coming crazy busy at mo so finding time is a bit tricky thanks again for the feedback
Thanks for your great videos. Definitely helping decide on options. Do you notice any difference in performance with the sun roof? I’m just thinking about the added weight to the car compared with a normal roof.
Hey Chris thanks for the kind comment means a lot 👍 I haven’t driven a non pano roof car to be able to compare, I guess there will be a slight weight difference but I can’t see it being enough to effect performance figures in any great way 👍
Is the sunroof exactly the same on the 5 door version? That’s all we get here in Australia and I haven’t been able to see one to get a good look at it (not a very common option it seems).

slawny007 hey there hard to say tbh but I would imagine the glass weighs more than the metal roof so would assume somewhere between 15-30Kilos at aguess
Hey Paul nope just one touch to shut from tilt however if the roof is fully open and you want to go to tilt you will need to fully close it before going to tilt hope that answers your question 👍
None whatsoever I have now sold the car but in 2.5 years and 18k miles, the roof was perfect never an issue tbh I never had any issues with the car it was faultless for me.

Ford is really messing up here in the states. They never release any of the good ford cars here only big and unreliable cars here. I wish they offered the 2 door fiesta here espeically the st version.

Chappers Gaming it this also you can pull a sun shade over both parts of the glass roof sorry if I didn’t cover that

So there are 2 different shades to pull? The grey see-through one we can see in the video and another one that completely blocks any light?

Yes, no difference other than the 5 door roofline is slightly straighter with less curve to the spoiler but the same opening aperture for the roof.
Any chance you could send some pictures for how the sunshade sits in the runners as mine won't slide?

Hello mate, did you get the back windows blackened by Ford? They look darker than other ST's I've seen
If you had two ST cars identical but one had pano roof and one had B&O which would you choose?
The sunroof, when you put it on tilt, can you the close it with one touch, or have you got to open it fully before you can close it?

Knowing Ford build quality I imagine these will leak a lot and a bit like the old Sierra Cossies will be a magnet for the famous Ford rust
