- Not recommended. Killing Pepsiman with the Vulcan would have been faster. And should he decide to move away from you, Barga has to follow him at a snail's pace. You're basically at his mercy and have to hope that he runs into your fists. But pounding him to the ground felt very rewarding.

Kind of a shame they didn't animate hit reactions when getting smacked by Bargas like they did with the other big monsters. They had to have foreseen someone wanting to box God with a giant robot.
But the other big monsters did not have hit reactions by Bargas as well. They did exactly movement whether they were hit by the fist of big robot or bullet from big fxxking gun.🤣What a pity
Maybe the flinch was the same, but there isn't a gun that can knock Erginus/Archelus flat on their godzilla asses like big daddy Barga

I wish they would make smaller combat suits, about the size of the frogs, that were more agile but you could still punch with them. Would be so satisfying.
Yeah that will be awesome. Honestly i'd settle with faster barga/balam variant with less damage. Maybe having 1 of the charge attack animation a dash type attack will be cool too

I like how command is absolutely loosing their shit in the background; cut to Storm-1 aggressively combat-role dodging person sized laser bullets because apparently that's all a supposedly omnipotent spacegod is capable of these days.
if you think about it if the player character can canonically dodge light beams and even tank them does that mean that storm 1 is canonically almost more durable if not more durable than some mainline anime characters?

edf is the kind of game that no matter how old it gets, playing it is just pure fun. I think i've gone back to play EDF 5 more times than any AAA game that i've bought in recent years. though my ability to find online players (mainly due to my work schedule) does get in the way of my multiplayer enjoyment.

@@Phucketmcsucket didn’t they show that it was basically us fighting over what’s left of earth with the frogs and bugs the aliens left when they evacuated from the planet? The air raiders even used drones instead of actual air raids to call in air strikes since the air force is probably non-existent in that game.

@@benoliver5593 I just wish GW could make a game like this with tons of replayability. Like Space Marines vs Tyranids, lots of Tyranids and only weapon grinding, no skill or spell grinding. Space Hulk: Death Wing was a disaster and fall short of EDF level of absurdity and destruction. I just wish they have used Battle of Macragge instead of unheard Space Hulk vessel and maybe done it like EDF where you can recover relics after mission and the single player is the same as co-op mission and players can pick any type of "class" instead of locking it to the librarian.

Ah yes, the one thing that can defeat God: The military industrial complex.
EDF4.1 may have the most iconic and funniest EDF chants especially the hidden despair versions in the late game, but damn EDF5's Signs of Victory theme slaps so hard when it plays, that adrenaline rush you get is just so satisfying.
Also side note: pepsiman dying and kneeling in front of Barga like that looks like he doin' a little sucky sucky there lmao. 😅
He's on a mission and he's ready to do anything to accomplish it...
