I managed to do this last night with cheese. There's a building on the left side by the main big road if you keep moving forward passing 3 aliens. If you go inside narrow passage between front and rear building, the aliens wont be able to get in.

i like this missions difficulty ( on hard so far atleast) and its a great setpiece with the carrier =v=

This mission really stands out on my first playthrough, even as a fencer with all the mobility options I had and this mission really keeps going on and on, you're very limited on resources to keep your health up if you get caught up in too many flame attacks it's GG. The best way I found to beat the mission was just using all the EMCs the mission gives you and hope you make it to the next damage threshold. Took me a couple of tries and that was on normal of all things.

for me this mission is not so hard, with 700hp i had still completed at 1 try, + any stork for hard mission on practice was not so good as raven.

Legit hate these enemies, some of the worst in the game. White ones too. How are you taking so little damage from them?

A good example for the importance of knowledge. I thought I'd be fighting lots of Scylla again and was equipped accordingly. I thought I should sink the Teleportation Ship. But it didn't open and I was in the wrong place while the NPC tanks got wrecked. On the other hand, this is the kind of white-knuckled fight you don't get when everything works as planned. Raking in the loot at the end was the most satisfying feeling in this game so far.

The equivalent to Monster Extermination in EDF 5. Just with Glaukos instead of Archelus. My first attempt on this ended with Glaukos' büllshit AOE depleting my full life bar in less than 2 seconds. In my second try, I used the anti-büllshit tank and survived. No idea why I didn't bring the Kepler for the first run. It was obvious what would happen here.

The Primers' forces here must have been rejected by QC. They bite the dust just by looking at them. The real enemy is the mountain. Running up and down made me lose 20 kilos. I could apply for the Wing Diver Corps now.

Return of the flaming purses. If you want to show them who's boss, try a flamethrower.

Yeah this is a good one to get a bunch of stuff, i really liked that hellacious underground mission on the Japanese version, once you get your dlc stuff upgraded that mission isnt too bad with a full team

A Probe would have made more sense than the Lightweight Protector in this siege situation.

And the sniper rifle shows its worth again. Pulling the Scylla from a distance surely beats getting close and facing several of them at once. The Kepler felt too slow for the Tadpoles. It was useful against Scylla, but evading the poo gas is harder with it.

For a moment, I thought the Siren was damaging the Anchors.

I hate Excavators. But I was relieved to see that not all those red dots were Scyllas. The Breacher was supposed to wreck them if they come close. Luckily, I had hardly any opportunity to use it. Thanks to the NPCs giving their lives for me and the EDF. 🫡

The MRL-30 was actually extremely useful for this one, since it allows to shave off the leg-mounted weapons modules by the dozens and has a rapid reload. Then all that's left is finishing off the main body with whatever other weapon you bring.

This is the most difficult mission than the final mission😮😅

One small annoying thing (on top of a mountain of other annoyances with thesw guys) is that they tip upwards when you try to shoot at their weakpoint, meaning that rapid fire weapons have to either stop firing or aim at a precise spot above the flamethrower to kill them quicker.

What's your opinion on the sluggers/orchids now that they have PT?
