Thanks for taking the time to make this detailed video. This is again the type of video that is rare to see. I will say play with caution with the Strikes because the last generation injured my inner elbow and fingers. Its a sad shame because I liked the 3rd Generation Strike 98 Tour and unfortunately will not be touching any more Strikes because of this. It put me out of hitting until recently.
Despite this, I will note that the Pure Strike line has always tended to be the unique line of the 3. It had the VS in 98 in 16x20 in the past and VS only went to 97 in 3rd Generation.
It has always had 18x20 and 16x19 which was only being implemented in Pure Drive and Pure Aero lines more lately.
Hopefully this 4th Generation does not cause injuries to anyone..

    First! 😂
I always enjoy the depth of your videos and your fairly unfiltered takes. It's always nice to get differing/real opinions.
Another solid video, good info 👍

The other players using this cosmetic are Sebastian Ofner and Alexander Shevchenko though there is probably more. I saw Alexander vs Luca Van Assche at Tennyson over a week ago(2024 is going to be a quick year if we do not keep on it!) and Alexander was hitting big.

nice video. for an advance-intermediate woman that plays twice per week and wants to start competing regularly, would you recomment the PS 100 or PS Team 100? She´s 1,66cm tall and slightly stronger than average for her size. She´s currently playing with Wilson Burn 285 but wants something more all rounded

I think the most interesting spec is the 31cm balance for the 100, 16x20 if that is really the correct spec.

Yes, strings should reduce the stiffness.
When the racquet starts to bend, the force exerted on the head by the strings is no longer parallel to the face of the racquet, which produces additional bending, so the racquet bends further in response to less external force.

great video I really like how they explain things and put so much passion into what you do, I am a level 5.0 player and I have played for many years with Babolat puree Aero of the year 2019, I changed last year to the aero of 2022 with 100 rim and colors from Alcaraz, but for some strange reason, the racket doesn't feel stable and doesn't hurt either, I feel like it's missing something and the spin it has doesn't hurt... do you think the pure strike version would be a better option or I'm afraid I have I have to go back to the 2019 version, thank you very much friend ❤

Tennis Guy🎾🎾🎾Tennis Great analysis! I have my eye on the PS 16x20…. wonder how it compares with the Shift 99 16x20…. Looking forward to you taking the PS 16x20 for a hit! Best, John

That new 100 16x20 looks very interesting.
It would be quite difficult to choose between the 97 and the 98 18x20 i think although the high swingweight of the 18x20 would put me off.
