I just bought the new Babolat Pure Strike 98 16x19, the racquet is a tad bit underspec but has amazing control and power! Super happy with my new purchase!
ah, ok!! thanks👍. Should I consider then my Head Radical 2021 stiffer??. It would be helpfull to know how are these two relatively in stiffness. Thank you!!
@@joaquingpmv5835 The average RA stiffness (strung) of the Radical MP 360+ is 65................Radical Pro 360+ is 65 so stiffer by a hair. I think un-noticible difference.
@@joaquingpmv5835 The difference between the Radical Pro 360+ and the Pure Strike 2024 is very little. weight, Swingweight, flex, sweetspot etc is about the same. The radical 360+ has the flexfibres in the shoulders that could make the whole difference. also look at string pattern, especially in and around the sweetspot where it matters most. some 98" frames with 16 x 19 are more control than some 98 " frames with 18 x 20. looke how big the string squares are in and around the middle of the racket. The playability of a given racket can be modified a lot with string choice and tension. its 50 % of a rackets dynamics.
The string spacing on the 18 x 20 looks funny especially at the top. wide at top. very narrow in the middle. The 16 x 19 is much more evenly spaced out.
Actually they (the PS 98) are 97.5" = 630 cm2 The Pure Strike 97 are also 97.5" = 630 cm2 but its printed to be 626cm" marketing humble zumble isnt it. You guys should have reviewed the PS 97 also together with the two.

Please explian to me the strange (unique) string placement of the 18 x 20.
looks like its going to have problems with the serves.
I believe that you are right. Compared to the 3rd gen 16x19 it has even been reduced by two ra points.
Hi!! 🙋🏻♂️ Are you sure Ra 68?? not 63?? (2024) I red it in the specs in Tennis Warehouse. Thank you!!
unstrung 68.... but strung at 63-64 RA

The swingweight is scary but how does it increase by so much compared with the gen 2 which is 323 for the same specs?
balance.... and distrubution of material in the layup.
Would you say the 100 16-20 is more powerful and unpredictable?
Or ?

I keep hearing the 100 is really nice
Pure Strike fan boys.....(like me)
97 much much better 👌
Which is actually exact same hoop size as the 98's
all 630 cm2.. they are all 97.5 square inch.
I know the 97 says its 626 but I dont think so.
This is the racket that RF would wish he could endorse.
