The Pure Strike 16 x 20 looks great to demo!

I will wait until the blade v9 to come out for demo before deciding on which one to settle for the next 2 years 😁
That 100 sq-in 16x20 looks like a gem! I need to Demo.
Surprisingly there's no mentioning of the SWs. The decision to keep both the 97 and the 100s at low 320s but the 98s at 330+ is a bit confusing.
Why is it confusing? The 98's are players racquets (especially the 18x20), the 97 VS is a platform racquet. The 100 is a racquet aimed more towards less advanced players
Quite ironic that Cam uses a Pure Control with Pure Strike cosmetic...

From the racquet lines but it’s still a string naming convention, and some of their grips.
The 98 pd and pa and the 97 ps are basically the VS racquets
@@bengray5013 yeah I know, you’re right, it’s just a bit awkward for him to be wearing it right after they removed that naming scheme
@@AustinLNale VS is a Babolat thing, it was the original string logo and they also use it for marketing some of their other products like overgrips, etc so it's not just a racquet thing.
Best one is 2009 pure storm tour gt. Unfortunately they discontinued it.
Was the tour version discontinued?
Not that I was a fan of it. It was too heavy whiteout any significant control improvements

But tw website says 61 not 65 ra for the 100 16 x 20?
They're off on lots of specs. They measure just a few samples at one point of the racquet as much as I know. They list the radical at 64 stiffness, but in reality they're much stiffer around 67-68.
We list our specs based on our playtest racquets (in this case we have 3 racquets of the 100 16x20) and we checked the specs on our RDC machine that we calibrate frequently. We were aware that the stiffness numbers seemed to be coming in low for what we would expect, based on previous iterations of the Pure Strikes. With that in mind, we were able to check about a dozen of our demo stock racquets, for each model, and with all the info gathered from our demo stock and the playtest racquets, we posted our average strung specs. Once we get our actual warehouse stock of the frames, and we start spec'ing more racquets, if we notice a trend that the specs are coming in quite different in terms of the averages, then we will update and revise our spec details on the website. With all that said, and you probably already know, the stiffness will drop about 2-3 points from unstrung frame to strung racquet. Troy, TW
@@tenniswarehouse A lower stiffness maybe sells more racquets or looks more attractive. But I'm not serious, don't think u would actually cheat on us.. you're doing great work!

Seems like this video was shot during Indian Wells time in 2023, around the same time as the Pure Aero Rafa release I guess?
Yes, we recorded it back in March '23! But the racquets just launched for demo this week, so had to keep it under wraps til now!

Babolats will destroy your arm.
Do you think that even with the lower stiffnes they could destroy or arms?
The VS/97 is more comfortable and doesn’t destroy your arm. Not a typical Babolat racquet!
@@asantesamuel13 thanks I was watching the Pure strike team but not sure how arm friendly is.
Depends on the players most of the time.people complaining about tennis elbow have either poor technique, the wrong grip size or dead strings.
the white is so bad
