Hello.Mike and Val very enjoyable video.I am.sure I.saw a Heron as you were approaching Minehead ,I hope your new computer will be sorted soon for you It so frustrating when they don't work. We must get round to buying a new printer ours is old and playing up love to you both from Chris and myself.😊.xx
Hi Joanne and Chris. The annoying thing is the editing program I use worked fine initially and is now not working properly, dropping data. Love to you both xx
I agree it takes time to get to grips with new technology, yet take it from me: new isn't always better than the old. Your old laptop seems to be able to create videos a lot quicker than the new one. With the new laptop, let it rest a while and make sure everything is connected properly. In the meantime, keep using your old laptop as it's still doing what you ask of it. This video is right up my alley. Show me a GWR Manor hard at work, and I'll show you how much I truly love her. Happy steaming, Erlestoke Manor. I do hope you'll return to the SVR one day.
Sadly my old laptop takes absolutely ages to make a video and I cant see the results clearly. My new computer usually is much quicker and better in every way, but now my video maker program which worked well no longer does. I am currently trying to sort out the problem.

Nice little trip ... summer looks like it's still hanging around .... How long did you stay in Minehead for ? I used to have a drink or 4 in the Hairy Dog pub .. it was great 😊
Yes we both enjoyed the train trip, sorry to say had a lot of rain yesterday and more expected. We stayed in Minehead about half an hour, just time to get chips from the stall around the corner from the station then to catch the train back to B/Lydeard.
I've seen a number of videos recently showing the rocks being delivered. Yours and Percy's included. I remember the first time they re-enforced the wall. I seem to recollect the rocks were brought to Blue anchor by the railway. and transferred to volvo rock trucks and taken down the ramp to the beach where excavators placed them against the wall. I think the railway was paid a lot of money for the use of the track. Best wishes to both.❤❤
Lovely video Mike your camera takes great videos regards to you both ❤
Thanks Mike from both of us.
"When the Dead Sea was just a bit sick"..lol. what a line!! Very nice Mike, nice to see the train was well used even in October. All the best.
