Great video Mike of some different kind of scenes. I liked hearing the people saying 'what a treat' etc once 7822 & 7828 had headed off to BL with the returning passengers. Not seen a loco stop before at Watchet foot crossing either!
You could have called this GWR: 3 Tender Engines & 1 Tank Engine. As you know, I'm a fan of God's Wonderful Railway. Hopefully, in the middle of August next month, I'll get a steam train ride from Llangollen to Glyndyfrdwy. I've got my fingers crossed. The Llangollen Railway is operating on Weekends only at the moment, like the West Somerset Railway. Operating on weekdays might not be till December this year. I'll keep you and others posted as soon as I know more.
Really enjoy your channel. Especially the mineral line content, I visited recently but happened to come on a day that the museum was shut, do you think you could do a video of the incline model working please?
There is good coverage by "Somerset Trainspotter 2021" of the Jubilee at BL. The title of his video Is " 45596 Bahamas visits the West Somerset Railway."
@@ADMIRALSCORNER Yes, thanks, I think I've seen it. But I miss your particular take on it, with your commentary etc. Don't like the new Marina buildings, reminds me of a random pile of kiddies' bricks.
Nice to see lots of activity, people, locos and Watchet busy. Let's hope WSR can soon be back running properly.
I would argue that having 4 engines in steam with a charter train with over 400 people on board would count as 'running properly'....
We just need connections to a few operational gates to make it happen!
@@SecondValve7820 I was referring to the full length of the line

Well done Mike. very interesting. Thank you
So different to mainline operation eh?
@@ADMIRALSCORNER true, but like you I love meeting people and the sights that surround us and include in the video.

Sadly I have never seen that working at the museum. I will enquire if it can.
Very nice videos Mike.
Pity you didn't get to BL to film the Jubilee, but I suppose it's a bit of a trek from Watchet.
There just wasnt enough time to cover that too!
