  • "More" can be a good thing and in this case it is a very good thing. More refined, more power, more torque and just about more of everything including a new 6 axis IMU, 4.3 inch color display, single sided swing arm, fairing...the list goes on and on.

    Great review as always Scott. Beautiful bike! Now that the Ducati dealer seems to have let you start reviewing their bikes, I'm really looking forward to seeing a test ride and comparison of the Multi 950S against your F900XR!!

    Nice to see you finally get out on a Ducati again Scott. I would have to agree with everything you said in this video. IMHO that is the sexiest bike in Ducati's current lineup. I took a good look at it at my local motorcycle show this year. I marveled at how the intake tract goes right through the middle of the steering head. Power is just where it needs to be for a gentleman's sport bike. Weight and power are similar to my '08 fully analog Fireblade. I'd like to see you review the 821 Monster, something tells me that you would love that bike.

    Another nice review. What I especially like about it is the quietness and the relaxed atmosphere. And also the music; too many vloggers shout into the camera in heavy slang and turn horrendous hard rock in the background and sometimes even in the foreground. Keep on going your own way, Scott!

    If you’re going to be working with a Ducati dealer more, maybe try jumping on a Hypermotard. They seem like fun bikes and you definitely have the scenery and roads for it.

      yea except it don't even has a fuel gauge on the screen, idk why ducati makes a bike in 2019 , colorful TFT with no fuel indication, sucks to have mileage anxiety.

    Thanks Scott. Too pricey!! Ducati is going to pick up a problem sooner than later with their hefty prices! If I may suggest, please include service schedules and maintenance costs in your reviews. These two things are very important for the real world rider. I bought a XDiavel S... it was expensive and had I known the maintenance costs (especially the DESMO service!!) I would NOT have bought this... Regards!

    Bike magazine dynod this bike and it actually produced a couple of bhp less than the 959

    • @hawkwood6405

    • @NothingToProve
      @NothingToProve  4 года назад +3

      Well, the truth is that that same "Bike magazine" can do the dyno on different days and get different readings each time. There are so many many "other" conditions that can affect a dyno reading. So this is why I just quote the OEM and what they get at the crank under their ideal lab environment. Other wise we could discuss this issue for years and never come to an agreement on a number...especially when were talkin' about a couple of hp.

    Immerhin ist ducati Melle freundlicher zu youtubern als zu echten Kunden die sich für die Maschinen interessieren. Anstatt einer Beratung bekam ich leider nur eine Abfuhr mit dem Hinweis...sie kommen zu recht und weg war die Person und nicht mehr gesehen. Dabei wollte ich ganz gerne etwas kaufen, aber wer dort mit etwas Japanischem vorfährt ist leider nicht gerne gesehen. Überhebliches Pack... Anyway guter Bericht!

      I hope not. We need to punish the ones that are doing the wrong and not punish everyone. It's really very simple. But that seems to be the going Pedagogy logic that the Universities are teaching today and so that thinking is now being used into our daily lives as adults. Freedom is not cheap and it saddens me when I see stuff like this slowly chipping away at freedom one regulation at a time.
      Using this logic, then all sports cars need to be regulated on weekends too...right? 😒

    Hey Scott! Thank you for this review. I have noticed that you are playing with the format and how you present the material. I'm rollin with the changes and am still very much engaged! I have to say that I miss the ergo demonstration you used to do. Being a bigger guy I rely on those to assess whether or not I have any shot at fitting on a bike! I would love it if you brought that piece back.
    As for the bike... it's very nice. I would take the V2 over the V4 simply because I don't ride track and I believe the V2 will make a better street weapon. But like all Ducatis, it's waaaay over priced. And I would not trust it to be reliable. So if I was in the market for a bike like this, I would pass. Too many other alternatives that are better than this for less money. And heck, because we are talking street riding here I could pick up a ZX-14R for example for thousands less and have a better, more exciting, more comfortable bike. Apples to Apples I could get a ZX-10R ABS for 2 grand less and have a better bike. The GSXR-1000R is the same price. The S1000RR is the same price! Which would you rather have? I'll take the S1000RR any day. But if you gotta have that Ducati, well, there it is!

    • @NothingToProve
      @NothingToProve  4 года назад +1

      Point taken Dennins, thank you.
      The reason why I stopped doing "sitting on the bike" during the stand-up presentation was because of the 360 camera where you can see me riding for several minutes so I thought that the ergo demonstration was no longer needed.
      I am always looking for ways to improve the presentation and I will consider re-introducing this portion when the bike calls for it. In the past when felt natural, I did it and if not I didn't. I think I'll go back to that regardless of the 360 camera shots. 👍
      Ride safe,
      Scott
