As much as I love the pacing management of John (he's a true maestro), I kind of agree that an episode without those "ok what's next" was nice. It's ok to let the conversation evolve naturally as well. All we want is to listen to geeky friends who like to geek out together, even when the pacing is not perfect!
Robert is at his best when paired with John and others. He’s not as strong on his own, but when these two team up, it’s amazing! They complement each other well, and I appreciate that Robert doesn’t just agree with John all the time-he has his own opinions.
I'd watch this show everyday and every night should John retire (which I don't want to happen). Add Kris and I'll watch it every morning too. Great show guys

For a modern 007 i would look to balancing the more high concept feels with the grounded and get inspiration from things like Metal Gear solid and Ghost in the shell. In this techo-military age id go that route for inspiration. I am not a big 007 fan but as an outsider to give him that fresh ground id go those routes, thematically. Especially Snake Eater

The super bowl commercial price is interesting, because fox is airing it this year, abc next, cbs (i believe is next), then nbc. But fox is the only one that doesnt have a movie studio anymore, so they are going to jack up their price, but i wonder if it goes down the next years so that they can collectively keep their costs down, or if they are even higher because they have to make up for airing their own commercials (which isnt really a loss)
for my understand of the younger audience just means they want a 25ish age james bond just out of collage and sere school. so the actor can play james for 20 years

I will continue to shout it from the roof tops. How Amazon & Barbara Brocoli haven't at least tried to get Christopher Nolan to direct a period piece James Bond trilogy with someone like Cillian Murphy or Henry Cavill is beyond me. It's really a perfect formula in my opinion. If Amazon wants to do something with Bond that's modern, this is what you do. You allowed them to make a "MI6" Amazon series and show all the ancillary characters but you DON'T feature James Bond at all. You build the show around M, Q, Moneypenny, and other double 00 agents like 006. You do 5 or 6 seasons of that MI6 show (building Bond's universe) and you end it (once C. Nolan is done) by segway into a NEW modern Bond movies with the same exact supporting cast around another new Modern James Bond. However the Amazon series ends could setup and introduce (& necessitate) a new double 00 agent. You get the best of both worlds. You get a vintage Bond trilogy from one of the best modern directors which will be stand the test of time the way the Dark Knight trilogy has and you also get something more modern and hip on the streaming service. Once that ends you get even more big screen movies that you already did a lot of setup and world building for on the small screen. THINK AMAZON, JUST THINK !!

You allowed them to make a "MI6" Amazon series and show all the ancillary characters but you DON'T feature James Bond at all. You build the show around M, Q, Moneypenny, and other double 00 agents like 006. You do 5 or 6 seasons of that MI6 show (building Bond's universe) and you end it (once C. Nolan is done) by segway into a NEW modern Bond movies with the same exact supporting cast around another new Modern James Bond. However the Amazon series ends could setup and introduce (& necessitate) a new double 00 agent. You get the best of both worlds. You get a vintage Bond trilogy from one of the best modern directors which will be stand the test of time the way the Dark Knight trilogy has and you also get something more modern and hip on the streaming service. Once that ends you get even more big screen movies that you already did a lot of setup and world building for on the small screen. THINK AMAZON, JUST THINK !!
I think that the reason some people root for Superman to fail is because they think it will get Henry back. The thing is that it won’t. He’s moved on. I’m sad about it, but I want the next thing to be great too.
Yep they're so butt-hurt they can't accept that Henry isn't Supes anymore. And nothing will stop them from hating the new film.
