    Great to watch and learn more, and I learn from the comments all the time in battle reports.
    Vampires cannot take the same vampiric power as each other. Though I don't think it even happened in the game.

      Thanks , yeah we did make a mistake i the list giving all the Vampires "Dark Acolyte" , it didnt make much difference a few ghouls were raised etc.

    Great battle. Really like the top view. Some notes. Could you present the battle armies list seperatly without map as background preferably with white background only. So much easier to read.
    While charging a terror causing units I belive you only do need do a fear test when charging the terror causing unit and only if it then has higher unit strength and fear causing units are immune and dont need do that.
    While a terror causing unit when charging require a terror test from the charged unit (The defender) When a unit that causes Terror declares a charge, the charge target must immediately make a Leadership test. If this test is failed, it must Flee.
    I am not sure but I belive fear causing units are not immune to this terror attack.
    I belive defending hills give high ground +1 cr.
    You always have one/turn 2d6+0 army dispel.
    A suggestion to not forget rules, we use a pre made card or token with special rules for each unit and items/spells/conditions that we put on the map, then you seldom forget.

      Thanks , yeah , good idea , if I have the lists I will present them in a clearer format.
      The Orc General ( Da Great Keef) passed his modified break test each time so he was giving ground. ( I think that is correct)
      The results were usually losing by 2 or 3 , 2 ranks and a standard ( we did forgot that skirmishers dont get a rank bonus , but he could have just deployed them in open order , which we will do next time so they get a rank bonus , at least for the big unit. We also forgot to give the ghouls +1 for the BSB , so we forgot a few things , but each tiome the orc general rolled well for his break test and gave grround)
      Yes , 2nd game so some rules mistakes but we moved on and kep the game flowing, we played hundreds of 5th , 6th and 7th edition games , so it's similar , but different , and our creaky old brains are a bit slower than they used to be.

      Haha it happeneds I made a lot mistakes myself first games. Its how you learn.
      Yap you did correct with your General, only when you fall back outnumber matters. Keep the battles coming 😊

    Suggestions on the Savage orcs. Banner of butchery on one, maybe Big'Uns on another?. Additional hand weapons. If an opponents unit Flees in good order, and you pursue, you count as charging in the following combat Pg. 157 . So chopper's get to reroll natural 1's to wound.

    definitely recommend spears on the savage orcs, puts the opponent in a bad situation, either let the savage orcs charge, pinning whatever they are charging ready for some boar boyz or a pump wagon or chariot to charge into their side or a big nasty character on wyveren.
    or charge the savage orcs putting them out of position but taking 4 attacks back each, if you spread them wide like 8-10 thats allot of dmg ranks are less important when you are immune to psychology, also keeping them wide gives them allot of board presence in exchange for manoeuvrability
    also one bigger unit of savage orcs does better then 2 smaller units, making them wide and intimidating makes the opponent make mistakes
    wouldn't recommend big uns too expensive and can use the points on something to help flank or on a standard which is more cost effective

    • @CreakyGamers
      @CreakyGamers  3 месяца назад

      Yeah I have realised my error in deplying them deep in ranks , I need to give them another go and deploy them in a wide formation.

    The mat idea is interesting, but the terrain seems to do nothing more than inform deployment and doesn't really impact play. Surely having peices along the centre of the table would cause more interesting plays.

    • @CreakyGamers
      @CreakyGamers  7 месяцев назад

      It depends on your army and what units you have.
      Open order units and skirmishers would use the woods and rough ground etc to their advantage , disrupt and slow down charges etc.
      In this battle we both avoided the terrain , but the skirmishing ghouls could have lurked in the woods.

    Did the strgoi test for stupidity?
    Terrorghiest didn't wailing dirge into combat.
    Why did the smaller ghoul units not rank up against the orcs as per skirmishers?
    Why did the large ghoul unit align to the wyvern? (I assume it was in open order formation, not skirmisher?)
    The Wyvern stomps are autohits. You talked about weapon skill, hope you didn't roll to hit with those.
    Your opponent seem to be rolling loads of 6s!
    But I do like your multiple camera setup.

    • @CreakyGamers
      @CreakyGamers  7 месяцев назад +1

      We remembered stupidy about half way through the game .
      The skirmishing ghouls were on makeshift trays , they probably would have been better if they just deployed ranked up so they could get a rank bonus.
      We realised later that skirmishers never get a rank bonus , this might have swung a couple of combats back a bit for the savage orcs, but the orcs still weren't doing much damage and the poison was killing boyz.

      @@CreakyGamersSetting up skirmishers like that gives up so much of their crazy maneuverability. You need to be able to put them in totally weird places and formations, that's their thing.
