Mr Hill, I've read so many articles, researches, ideas etc but I've never ever found sthg as useful as your videos. I practice meditation and yoga, yet I have difficulty to control the adrenaline in my body and slow down time to time. As you may guess I have tinnitus in both ears and they get crazy frequently. What I want to say is, I am truly indebted to you. Thank you so much for spending your time and energy to help us all. And the slow, relaxing rythm of your narrative eases my mind and body further. I'll follow all your videos and instructions. I want to send all my best wishes to you from Istanbul, Turkey.

My English is Not the best. Should i practice this exercise when being stressed or overwhelmed by the Tinnitus or several times a day?

More invaluable advice ! I have a free day and will try to put these techniques into practice.
Before the noise , I had fleeting moments , a feeling that I should feel my body more, particularly during those heady head times, now I start see, just a little more !
Thank you kindly for your time and generosity.

so do you think that this technique could go deeper on the level of thought and attention if I were to use two cup's that are close to full with water ?,, I know how to be calm within reason and I have severe tinnitus with Hyperacusis, working with post concussion symptoms along with neck injury pain and a c1-c2 cervical imbalance. symptoms are as- Brick in the head feeling, head numbness, ear ache, eye ache, top jaw bone pain, mid-med continues headache to severe wanting hospital or death headaches, cognitive is greatly effected and I could go on, you get the picture it's just not fun...

Sounds like you are really struggling. I presume you are drinking plenty of water. I also presume you have been to a doctor and have had your head scanned to check there is nothing untoward going on. Osteopathy or chiropractic work can really help acute symptoms like yours back off. Once the severe resistance has been relieved then you may find techniques like the one above can really help divert your attention. Once the acute stuff has settled I recommend finding a local craniosacral therapist to help you come back into balance. Look here for local referrals. www.craniosacraltherapy.org/practitioner-referral. Good luck with it man!

+Mr Drew I hope things have improved for you, I have really loud T & painful H, It's been a few months since it got really bad, but I'm much more use to it now. Left my job, lost months of sleep, It can only be described hell, I couldn't do a thing and I wouldn't have understood these techniques. Like anything you get more use to it and these videos are helpful now I'm back in control.

Thank you Julian. You have no idea how helpful these videos have been to me. I have had tinnitus since 1/4/16. I Am a psychotherapist who specializes in CBT and I believe that my T was brought on by stress. When I am In despair I come home and watch these videos and feel empowered. Doctors have not been helpful. I have been getting regular massage for many years but have had Craniosacral sacral massage 5x. It is helping me to let go of "old stuff" even more. Worst time for me is in the morning when I wake up. It usually settles after a few hours.
Wondering if this is normal.???? I signed up for a 9 week mindfulness course and am looking forward to it. I would not be where I am now( in a much more positive mindset) if it weren't for you wonderfully encouraging videos.

      Dear Cheryl
Thanks for your positive feedback. Adrenaline is at its highest in the morning which is what rouses you from sleep. The body-clock activates you in preparation for the day. I recommend having a long bath or shower and then doing some enjoyable relaxing body-based practice like yoga or tai chi to turn your mornings into a time of relaxation and energising calmness. Do this for a week and you will reprogramme yourself and the mornings will start to take on a positive feel of their own!
      Best wishes
      Julian
