Joint compound works better for the large surface areas, spackling for the edges. Happy crafting!

That Basket/bucket turned out simply stunning! I have seen others do a similar diy but yours is by far the best! Maybe its because you used shims... idk but either way I love it!

A tip when you need cardboard layers to be really strong, glue them together with the corrogation going in opposite directions.
