Congratulations, and thanks for the always excellent videos! Most of us are here for the joy you and your team bring to us through our screens every week. Happy Ramadan from New Mexico.

I am not Muslim but I too offer my blessings to those who show devotion to God during Ramadan. As a Christian I fast once monthly more if I feel a blessing is needed in my life or community. What a beautiful crew you have. As always I want to be in your kitchen and want your knife. I do have bulgur I ordered for another of your recipes so I’m ready to go on this.
Refika I AM ADDICTED to your recipes. It is Ramadhan and I will make this tonight for Iftar as an additionnal vegetarian side dish. MERCI BEAUCOUP ❤🇩🇿🇨🇦
This looks so good!! I’m vegan and I really appreciate the vegan recipes you’ve been posting! (Even though I still watch all of your videos for your personality and for inspiration haha)
I’m in Canada and there are so many vegan “meat” substitutes nowadays. Yves used to offer a souvlaki that was amazing but stopped producing. I veganize everything. Good to know there’s more of us celebrating this lifestyle.

Your recipes are amazing!! I love your inclusiveness when it comes to vegan and vegetarian foods. Your channel not only shows recipes but also teaches about the realities of the kitchen. Keep doing what you do! Love from Bulgaria!
I just finished making this, and it’s amaaaaazing and so flavorful and bright! I didn’t have the fine yellow bulgur, but I had some medium coarse brown bulgur, so I blended it smaller in my food processor. Used fresh cilantro because I didn’t have parsley at home. And I added some delicious Turkish Aleppo pepper flakes for a little more heat. And it still came together beautifully ✨💖🥰. You have to make this recipe 🌸!
So interesting! In Mexico you can find a dumpling with the exact shape of the fellah kofte, made with corn meal. In the Oaxaca region they are called chochoyotes/chochoyones. The cooking technique is pretty much the same (added to broth/sauce/stew), just a completely different flavor profile.
@@majdavojnikovic Here is a soup recipe, from Patti Jinich. She explains really well. The dumpling making starts at 2:30. ruclips.net/video/tL3Nk6Bq_LY/видео.html

Looks delicious. Central Americans make the little dumplings that look exactly like the ones you made but from corn masa and cheese which are then fried. And are then added to a vegetable soup of carrots and potato’s. It’s called capirotada soup. Very delicious, too. 🌹
Hi you wonderfull people. I soo love this recipe 😋. I made the milk helva the other day because winter is coming too quick and the sweet warm helva made my tummy soo happy. Thanks Rafika for helping the world eat better food
I love your videos and your recepies. Few weeks ago we had guests from Turkish school (Erasmus project, teachers and pupils) and they were very happy when I told them, that I watch your programmes and try to cook your dishes. ;) Btw I am from Poland:)
In my region we simply call this "bulgur köftesi" or "sarımsaklı bulgur köftesi" (sarımsaklı meaning "with garlic/garlicky") and trust me guys, it is much more delicious than you can imagine 😋
Omg Refika you are killing me, i wish there were restaurants selling fellah kofte!! It is really something unique and extremely good tasting, i have to go buy ingredients and try your recipe now, there is just no alternative expect dying from slobbering ofc😂😂
Hello!! I'm from Brasil, my parents were from Egypt so i love this kind of food and love your channel and recepies! My dream is spend sometime in Turkey traveling around and eating all this wonderful ! Do you know Brasil? Im sure you would love it 😉 How make the cury version? Thanks for all nice moments watching your videos!🙏
This is mouth watering and it's vegan. I will definitely try to make this one. Thanks Refika and everyone on your team! ❤️ 🧡💛 Love seeing everyone enjoying the meal after the videos.
Ok Rafika, I just got done making this. I’d have loved your crew to help my roll them out. My kitchen smells amazing and even though I have an autoimmune disease that won’t allow me to have wheat I have a small bit and think when my family arrives for dinner they will enjoy with a side salad. Thank you.
Ramadan Mubarak to all of you from India ! This is a really superb Kofte dish & Bulgar is such an under used grain which is super delicious & healthy too.
Discovered your channel and love your content. I have watched a lot of videos in the past couple of week and looking forward to making a few of your recipes. There is a Turkish store in the area (Texas) will grab some authentic goodies from there.
I love those bulgur köfte in many variations I experimented a lot with it. I came up with a variation that I call "Foelafel", I tried to simply deep fry some of those köfte balls and was surprised how good and crisp they became and because I'm lazy I used my Falafel forming tool to make little pucks it's way more practical and I use those like Falafel as fingerfood snack with any dip and/or salad you want or in a wrap.
I love your videos, they are lessons in food, history and culture. These look amazing and I especially love how you showed the different ways you can eat them. Going to search for the white bulgar and give these ago. Thanks for sharing 💋💋💋❤️❤️❤️
Ramadan Kareem! What a wonderfully deep dive into bulgur! As usual the tips are great! Thanks for sharing your beautiful point of view with such lovely videos. May you and your team be well and stay safe!!
This is one of the staples to serve when neighbors family members visit each other during the day. This is soooooo good, and can be done with dried red peppers if you don't have red pepper paste (although the pepper paste really transforms the recipe)
That Will Smith cameo and reference to Mind your Language, the sexy man smelling parsley!Hilarious 🤣 Your videos are as informative as they are fun...and the Vegan Kofta look way too good! xo
Refika, you inspire me to go beyond my cooking comfort zone! I will try this as soon as I find pepper paste. Sending you many blessings from Washington DC!

Cooking Turkish food following your recipes is a glorious adventure. Menemen was my entry recipe, I am always hungry for more, this one will be my next endeavor. Thank you for sharing this.
Yes! I just made these delicious vegan balls, and they turned out perfect! I watched this video at least 4 times and I nailed it! I had a hard time finding pepper paste, so improvised a little with tomato paste and chili paste(yikes!) but it was so tasty! I put it on top of a little plain yogurt, and it was perfect. I will definitely do this again. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing Refika! This looks delicious. Your vegetarian and vegan recipes are favorites. Enjoy learning more about your culture. Also enjoy the garden and herb videos. Your team is fantastic too😊🌻💛🌻
