As a native and ethnic Zamboangueño, native and first language Chavacano speaker, and who also knows how some Spanish dialects and accents around the world sounds, Akira really did it well as if he's a native Spanish speaker who was just influenced by growing up in a non-Spanish-majority speaking country.

I already have a list of what I know Spanish speakers will notice that Filipinos tend to mispronounce when attempting Spanish, but I don't wanna sound suplado 😂 Long story short, the fact that Akira is so multi-culturally aware just solidifies him as by bias. hahaha

mmm more or less, it means the same, but your phrase is not usually used. We say "pero no me estoy quejando" (but I'm not complaining).

I agree. Bc they are not Chavacano, they sometimes pronounce s or c with sh. In linguistics, this is called glottal interference. The Fukien Chinese influence uses sh a lot.
Chavacano is the Filipino language that is cognate with Southern Castellano esp in the Valladolid area.
Their Spanish will improve when they collaborate with Latino/Spanish singers.

In Filipino the diphthong "ie" is pronunced something like a "shye" rather than "iye"
Tiempo would be "tchem-po" rather than "ti-yem-po
Siempre would be "shem-pre" rather than "si-yem-pre"
Septiembre would be "sep-tchem-bre"
etc.
Same thing with words ending with "ción" in spanish, we would pronounce it as "shon"
Relación= Relasyon
Acción= Aksyon
Comunicación= Komunikasyon
Solución= Solusyon
etc.

The Ll like Gallardo in latin America they pronounce it as Y like gayardo but in philippines we pronounce it as le ya like gal liar do, caballo we prounce it as ca bal yo in latin america they prounce it as ca ba yo, llamas we pronounce it as li ya mas in Latin America they pronounce it as ya mas Argentinian prounce some of the words like cho
I think its coz these spanish words also exist in tagalog but pronounced differently when adopted after spanish rule

In some cases, D's and B's are softly (silently) pronounced but it could still depend on our accents. Puede is pronouced with a hard D here in the Philippines, spelled as "pwede". I think the original singer Sebastian Yatra, is really a "gringo" because he grew up in the U.S.
I love the song, that (and No Hay Nadie Mas) was added to my favorite Spanish songs together with Perdoname, Despacito, Dura... etc.
