8) lloyd starts out as an antagonist/hated by most people
9) uh idk the bounty ???? i guess??
that's literally all i can think of lmao everything else is wildly different. there isn't even any spinjitzu in the movie when the show (at the time of the movie coming out) was called MASTERS OF SPINJITZU. idk man im not even mad about the design changes, it's the fact that it's called the Ninjago Movie but the show & movie ninja feel like complete different characters if you really think about it. i know the whole "being separate from canon" is because the show is Very story-driven and it'd be hard to keep it completely canon - but the mlpfim movie did that and it was very good AND was referenced in the show post-movie release! what is TLNM's excuse!!!!!
idk man at the end of the day i like TLNM for what it is, because it IS funny and an overall good movie, but it is absolutely not superior/better than/equal to the show in any way to me :/ ESPECIALLY when the movie focuses so heavily on lloyd that the other ninja are basicaly shoved to the side (cole has NINE MINUTES of total screentime) even though the original 4 ninja were the Main characters at the beginning up until like season 3 or 4. so to see them, the guys i grew up watching, sidelined is just . it doesn't sit well with me lol
(srry if i don't respond youtube doesn't tell me when i get replies anymore)
honestly watching you guys enjoy a good movie was very nice, this is probs why we all wanted you guys to cover megamind or any other good movie.
you don't need to always just suffer on some movies or make fun of it.
so this was wholesome compared to your other movie watches
It was a fun change of pace!
@@MicrowaveSociety Maybe you could also do Shrek 1 or 2 (Dreamwork’s best movies)

"british people dont exist."
me: *stops existing*
There was a movie I watched as a kid called "Adventures of a Teenage Dragonslayer" a low-budget kids' movie where I had no idea what the plot was even about. If you guys could make a video on that, that would be cool.
wait just one second now
I like how the first part of the video is them just criticising OTHER films and going off on a tangent.
19:26 now it's true
💀 bro
Spoilers i haven’t gotten that update dude
Never noticed this before but the prison says "The Metrocity Prison. For the Criminally gifted"
For the question at 9:33, Metro City is located in Michigan, which can be seen in the shot where Megamind's satellite is about to fire.
true
I think its just their version of Detroit
The live action Cat in the Hat movie is a cinematic masterpiece.
Nope
Ironically maybe
We don’t touch that with a ten foot pole
That movie is both a trip and an experience simultaneously
This felt like shortest one out of all of them, thats how you know its a good movie
That doesn’t make sense
To Jude: at 12:40 you said that Hal is what you name a computer. Hal is a computer from a very famous movie called 2001 a space odyssey
We should all "make fun of" good movies more often. I'm tired of hating things, I wanna have fun again.
You okay man?
@@prince_pluto9031 No
@@reidheidler5138 you wanna talk about it?
I’m really sorry, mate
Metro Man is literally just a man in pyjamas who smoked an extraordinary amount of insulation
So am i but i cant fly
You guys MUST review Little Man. Probably one of the most uncomfortably awkward cinematic experiences I’ve ever had.
god I thought that film was a fever dream please can they review it
Maybe if we chant it in enough comment sections...
Yes
Paranormal inactivity was even worse that shit killed me
So about the sudden rain…in the scene with Hal on the tower you can actually see the flies that later cause the rain approaching. They foreshadowed the rain with a few background details

*Bren mocks the school being next to the prison*
The town of Shepton Mallet: *uncomfortable silence*
If you guys *REALLY* want a cursed movie, watch 'Space Chimps'.
Oh my GOD. That movie made me so goddamn uncomfortable. Just the whole thing. Especially the alien designs and the fact that the guy chimp keeps hitting on the girl chimp even though she's uninterested, but of course she ends up falling for him later which sends the terrible message to young men that "she's not saying no, she's actually interested in you and just pretending she isn't. Keep trying and she'll come around".
Finally they're covering an actualy good movie.
They cover good movies sometimes
When I watched this in theatres, the audio was so immersive that I thought someone was saying "I love you, Metroman" in the theatre's audience itself. That was an awesome experience. I love this movie!
6:35 “ a dude in like jeans that can fly for no reason” super hero with a crappy name and stuff like that. He just describing Hancock. Loved that movie especially for the beginning taxi scene
Did he even wear jeans? I thought they were sweats?
@@CMan-x7k they were but the casual nature is what I mean
I would love it if you guys actually covered more good movies! This episode was honestly the funniest one I've watched.
I kinda wished Jude didn’t intentionally seek out things to criticize in this movie because it was honestly pretty decent
16:33 well, it kinda happened
Yeah MODOK had that kind of look

"There is no tooth fairy, there is no easter bunny, and there is no Queen of England". The unfortunate thing is that now all those things are true.

19:28 Tighten was right about the Queen of England.
19:30 guess I’ll leave
12:11 Roxanne discovers the back rooms.
Yep lol
Jude predicted Mr electric being a villain in the mcu with the addition of modok
Pov: you sorted newest to see all the queen of England rips
8:25 bruh his reaction was i forgor💀
I'd love to see you guys cover good movies more often, especially hidden gems.
Jude gave off a light skin stare 14:47
I’m glad you covered this, even if you didn’t have chances to rag on it for being shit, it’s nice to have you talk about an actually good movie, that also meshes pretty well with your humor
12:38
Jude: Ew, it sounds like what you name a computer.
Me:(knows The Space Odyssey) or a certain A.I antagonist perhaps?
H.A.L would probably be an A.I antagonist
Me who reads DC comic: And i took that personally
I had a feeling there'd be at least one other person.
Nah, I think it’s like the one character in the Portal level in LEGO Dimensions
21:10 Batman; *throws 23 batarangs, hits with the 24th*
batman; "First try!"
Lego movie joke
Why'd you use semicolons (;) instead of colons (:)?
It took me a year and a handful of rewatches to finally catch the joke of putting a stereo widener on Jude's audio when he says 3D Glasses. I will NEVER get tired of MWS production humor.
(I'm the same guy that laughed at the SM7B for Discord joke).
Megamind is genuinely my favorite superhero movie
Megamind is such an underrated movie. I wish they made an actual sequel instead of a mini movie.
So happy to see all of you doing well! Thanks for the amazing content you brighten so many peoples lives
