This made me laugh. Thank you.
8:50 no, they cut the skin off of your torso and replace it, or leave everything but the bone, like a robotic endoskeleton and put new wiring, (blood vessels) pistons (muscles) and plating (skin)
Oh this movie, I watched this constantly as a kid. It was great to me as a kid story wise and humor wise, and I love the art style as well, but I can see why so.e of it would be pretty transparent as an older person now. Still, one of my childhood favorites
For those that are wondering, the song at 6:53 is Underground by Tom Waits
That song is the chocolate syrup to this extremely dark scene of the film.
the farting scene had me in stitches, and then the light pole came to life and actually died. *a chalk outline the next morning* that broke the stitches again. whoever wrote that joke is destined fore heaven.
Anything in this movie: exists.
Microwave Society: but why?
this movie was a cute movie, granted a crappy one but it was still adorable, apparently when me and my brother were young we forced mom to watch it like eight time and she liked it the first time but after the eighth movie time felt like it was literally slowing down. poor woman was giving us housing and food and in return we forced her to watch this hours long movie almost ten times in a row.
I can't blame you. It's like watching a Christmas special every year. The more you watch it, the wackier it gets and you still love it every single time.
My considerably younger sister watched it often. Made me ask similar questions. One thing I didn't like was the notion we have to rely on our old heros to fight the big bad.
Say sorry now
Evil man
I am disappointed

12:30 the universe of big weld? I think you mean *_BIG WORLD_*
4:45 "seriously what is this transportation?" *"b a l l s"* ... my humor is broken.
Tbh the concept of building a adult robot rather than crafting a baby and giving it upgrades over the years sounds a lot more horrifying, every adult robot is just a serial killer.
I think it would be weird to make an adult robot form for an undeveloped artificial intelligence to live in.
Could you imagine being a new-born baby in a fully developed adult body?
You wouldn't know what the heck you were doing and your parents would have a harder time taking care of you.
Yeah, I think it's kinda like real-world training of a neural network, but then enhancing its body as it's AI improves.
Literally the plot of Poor Things lmao
Whatever you think of this movie, the message about how immoral it is to have corporate contests on human health is an excellent message.
6:22 statements I never thought I’d hear part 271: that dumpster’s going Mach 3
Edit: slight time stamp change
This movie made the final battle of Avengers:Endgame before Avengers:Endgame

Yeah they totally did!
Microwave society has abandoned us and I’ve lost hope in them, this was the final straw😔-

I love how Fox released a Will Smith action movie about robots and then a year after they go and make another robot-related movie that paints them in a more friendly light
Question - if the movie's aesthetic is kind of 1950s inspired - does that mean Rodney was born in the 1930s? Or was he born in the 1950s and the movie takes place in the Robots version of the 1970s?
disturbing fact: if robots are made of metal and the buildings are made of metal then their buildings are made of their flesh
and every thing else made of metal is also flesh
yes I saw the whole video and saw the flesh part
It’s like a Gingerbread Man in a Gingerbread house being like his house is made of flesh.
4:31
That so funny for a exploded mic. To the voice of laughing joke.
I will admit this movie does have a few confusing things but I mean COME ON MAN! This is easily one of the best films Blue Sky Studios ever made!
0:35 smoothest transition
"rivet town" is the robot equivalent to "spleen town"

Well everyone knows that if RTgame tried to make a non torture machine
He would still make a torture device by accident
Evthing he makes is torturous and he knows it and keeps doing it

Robots was a good movie! I’m a big fan of robots (yes both the movie titled “Robots” and robots as in… robots)!

One more thing, Animation isn’t just for kids!!! It’s not, ok? I love all sorts of fictional related things!
One thing you gotta love about this movie is the animation, it’s surprisingly really good for an early 2000s movie and still stands well to this day

God… you have no idea how accurate that John Deere part was… the dealer has to come down to fix pretty much anything that you could do in 30 minutes and they charge you 3 grand for a 100 dollar job.
I think I just realized why all my employers use Cat and Komatsu lol

This is clearly someone who has never met someone.. like me.
There is such thing as like organ transplants though. Not detaching the whole body but like one of your internal organs then replacing it with a donor organ.
