I have a 3 Ton arbor press. I make 6.5mm thick vegtan leather coasters, round 10cm diameter. Bought a set of 8 round dies of various sizes on Amazon. They work nicely when I work along the edges of the dies. They produce evenly round shapes and are quick to make.

If it is a secret, I can understand, but I have always wondered how you go from an existing design, through Adobe Illustrator to getting the die made. How is it set up in Illustrator? Seems to be a close to the vest secret. Thanks Thomas!

Very helpful as I do everything by hand. Can't afford a large clicker press yet.

I have an arbor press like yours. I love the modifications you made to specialize it for leather working!

I am so glad I found your channel. You approach things the same way I do. For stamping, I have been using a very old tool that was made to put caps on glass soda bottles.

Great suggestions and very well presented. Is this the same way you embossed your prices? Do you have a video showing how to embossed on a small scale?

Thanks very much for the video. The information has been interesting and I am sure will prove useful. I have been looking for an arbor press for setting snaps but none of those I have seen include the setting dies. Could you please let me know what press you are using so I can buy something with setting dies? As ever, thanks.

Grind the two teeth off at the bottom of the bar. This will allow you to adjust the bar without taking the handle all the way to the top.

🔥🔥 your work is GOAT status however I thought about something there are some really reasonable heat press machine under $100 9x12 inches maybe persons can try that method of cutting leather with the die…the SWING AWAY heat press not the clamp up and down once…maybe it will work cus the pressure can also be adjust jus don’t know how to measure the pressure strength 🫡🫡
