The HK 416 dominated the meta for so long I bet I haven't intentionally run one of these in three years. But now, with horizontal recoil added and not seeing it played too much, it's finally ready for hipster Tarkovians to take for a spin. I'd take an ADAR all day over the HK 416, but as someone dropped this one for us in a previous raid, I felt obligated to at least live a few seconds of the Chad life.

After running the ADAR, RFB, VPO-209 and SAG AK-545, I earned a day of HK 416 bullet hose play and this thing did not disappoint. Sometimes quantity over quality is the answer. Let me know if there is an underrated gun out there you think I should cover, as I'm always open to suggestions. The last one was the SAG AK-545 and it quickly became one of my favorite guns in Tarkov. o7

I think a cool definite anti-meta would be using a bolt action. I rarely if ever run into other bolt action users except mosins and vpo’s early wipe. M700, DVL, or T-5000 would be pretty dope
I usually always run an MP9 (AP 6.3) + DVL combo. Found a stock supressed DVL and scope cost about as any other gun, and an MP9 is light and cheap.

You know a game's weapon balance is ridiculously bad when a 20" barreled 416 with an 8" can is superior to a 11" gun with a 6" can for cqb. There need to be some MAJOR reworks on this front from BSG.
I dream of a patch where short barrel weapons are also viable, I'd even love the AKS-74u to finally have a decent build for CQB etc. It does feel awkward swinging this thing around on a Dorms staircase etc. Also wish they'd stop making only one attachment per slot the best so we could finally build for aesthetic. o7
@@SgtPrepperTV Tbh, 5.56 just needs another rework. Or camera recoil thrown in the bin. Stock recoil on an M4 is as bad as recoil on an AKM.
Iron sights are unuseable and pistols are just broken for rapid follow-up shots.
AKS-74u doesn't feel good to use, like, at all. Even if you chuck 300k at it, it's still just weird.
to be fair why would a short barrel have any cqc boost apart from making the gun shorter and easier to go around corners with which it already does.

Have you ever felt the actual handling distance between the two in a real life scenario? It's chalk and cheese.
The problem he's referring to is big dick Chad's swinging around 20 inch barreled rifles with a massive suppressor hanging off the end indoors like it's an MP5.
Get close to a wall, yeah, you get barrel stuffed a millimetre sooner, but there is no realistic difference between the 2.
Ever tried to peek a corner holding a long barrelled SLR (FAL) irl? I have. It's not a fun experience. Change that to an AUG, and it's light and day.
@@sacman4611 that’s actually exactly why it’d be better imo. Dorms on customs you can just die on the stair case or peeking the hall because you can’t aim your weapon that is still pointing at the sky due to its length. Just feels clunky in most indoor locations. Also would be cool if one barrel grip suppressor etc weren’t the only way to make a gun have decent recoil or ergo etc.

Awesome video! One little suggestion that people might relate to: I would love to see all of the player’s loot instead of zooming in on just the dogtags or the helmets, or even when reloading on the tactical rig. Adds a little bit more fun to watching because it’s always cool to see what people are running
