even pre buff it is/was one of the best weapons in the game if you know its limits and can play around them. interchange is the perfect environment for the 101. you have mixed distances with an high amount of rotation options and spots/angles to hold where you can keep space between the enemy if needed to counter its 30 round mag limitation. also its very cheap for its performance, my mid build is 170k with 44 recoil and suppressed. ppl sleep on it.
I'm pretty sure this patch it is, but, of the 3 5.56 options that are closer to a "budget" load (MDR/SCAR/101); it's by far the most costly and still reliant on M856A1 at this point in the wipe to be somewhat competitive against similar performing and easier accessed kits ie 9mm/45ACP AP, 7.62x51 M80, etc. Personally speaking I think the 101 is in the best spot its ever been, but the fact you have to craft 856A1 at *PK3* to even have a round I'd consider "usable" means I will pivot to an MP7/P90/RFB every time I am offered just because I can buy FMJ/SS190/M80 straight from PK3 and be good to raid. Meanwhile I have to save 1000 rounds of tracers to even be able to bother using more than 1 5.56 kit, and at 15 hour crafts and several days of saving to use a resource I can't even really buy neans I'm driven away from using it on the regular. tldr ammo avaliability. Maybe cost factor post mods when you figure an MDR will put the same rough output for 180k compared to 220-250k
@@SgtPrepperTV It is my biggest complaint about 5.56 right now. The buffs feel lovely and I implore you to mess with either of the lower RPM suggestions (MDR/SCAR L) I mentioned; they feel buttery smooth post 5.56 changes
you can unlock M856A1 on PK2 after completing the task "The Cult - Part 1". depending on how smooth my start is, i usually unlock it around level 18-20. wich is almost broken if you take into account that you just melt enemies with class 4 or below. from a price point its one of the most efficient ingame. my "mid tier" build is 170k with 44 recoil and 59 ergo with suppressor.
@@BigBoi5T3V3 I completely forget about The Cult because I just stop bothering with quests when I get past Tigr Safari ngl. Example being previous ammos listed carrying me to mid 30s this wipe. Also if we go by performative spread and recoil control I believe the AK offers a tighter dispersion rate solely because of the mods it can take. But, again, its preference when the numbera end up within 40k of each other which is just your rig cost lol
And on Interchange, where in hundreds of raids I don’t think I’ve seen more than 5 the last few wipes and that’s when lucky. This raid was so odd, 8 kills and I heard a player behind me and didn’t get the one in the middle I aimed at.

@@tyhank453 honestly I wish I learned Davinci Resolve because it seems pretty great and it’s free, but I’ve had this for a while. Pro is a subscription or I’d pay to do a one time upgrade, so I went with premiere elements just to pay only once and it bundled with a photoshop option as well. Has been worth the cost for me but it’s not nearly as good in terms of workflow and options etc as pro, and you can’t do tiktok/shorts format/resolution either some strange reason but pro can.
30 rounders and it's 5.56. that's why. the mutant has 30 rounders too sure, but it also shoots a round that actually kills people; on top of being able to use 40 rounders, or even the huge drum. wish 5.56 was just better overall, I think we'd see this used a lot more if so.
the issue with doing that is the HK then gets nerfed and so does the m4, then we have 2 useless guns instead of making 1 5.56 meta ak. i do want a small damage increase for 5.56 but not at the cost of them making m4s and hks shit again. also adding custom mags or seeing if there are bigger mags for the 5.56 ak would be nice.

Scav SA58 built onto a 34k new lower. Unsuppressed SBR M4 that weighs less than 4kg. Prokill barter is the best way to acquire.
