Haha still sounds awesome. I wish he played this while Josh was on stage, but it's cool that it's still a known thing how well he played on that album.
I love how there’s so much admiration for one another in this band. Dave and Taylor worshipped each other as musicians. Josh just posted a video of Dave and Taylor from like 2000 and raved about them. So much love.

It’s not terribly difficult in and of itself, the hardest part is doing it at the tempo the song’s in. It’s really just four consecutive single stroke hits across the snare and moving down on the toms. The first three hits are tripleted, which is what gives it that “swing” feel. Think of it as ta-ta-ta… ta.

Dave CRUSHED that album. That's probably my personal favorite album of all time. It's banger after banger
That album has some of my favourite Dave drumming
Dave got better lookin with age. Better drumming too. Damn Taylor, we still miss you. RiP, Taylor
I totally agree with you ❤

TAYLOR HAWKINS THURSDAY!!!! He will forever live on in our hearts as well as be dearly missed.
What did him in ? Did he start doing drugs again ??
We really don’t know. Look it up. News stories explain the situation.

Those two will always be the best ♥️❤️
I love watching Dave play the drums ❤
I was at this show. I think about it all the time and how lucky I was to see Taylor one last time
Called a herta if anyone is interested
No, it's obviously called 'the no one knows thing'

Yeah Billy Cobham was doing this with his eyes closed in the early 70s at twice the speed
I was never able to get that phill down
To this day I still can't get that fill down. Idk why my brain won't let me get it.
They're just hertas, wait until you try Hot for Teacher or Bleed, it's gotta be the most satisfying rudiment

I know
It’s Nirvana’s Aneurysm break/interlude
Anyone want to FOO FIGHT
The Dave show continues…
where was this at?
They were playing Drain You??
Nope. That would be cool
a herta
Chad Channing should play drums in Foo Fighters now...
Nah, fuck it, I'll do it.
Dave, need a drummer?
Meshuggah bleed
No one knows? Thats not the name of the song its song for the dead
Exactly what I was thinking
That fill is from "No One Knows".
Song for the Dead is on the same album but the herta fill played here is from No One Knows
No one knows.
No one cares.
Songs for the deaf is a well loved album and so is the fill he played. It's a cool enough fill that he knew what he meant by "no one knows thing"
Grave Dohl.
