Welcome back Skinny and thank you for the comment! How's your Barracuda coming along? Fortunately I have a heated garage. However, life and work slowed down my plans for the dart. I was hoping to get the engine bay painted before it got too cold. Too late! It's all good. I have plenty I can do indoors. Floor pans, torsion bar crossmember, getting the suspension stuff cleaned up and ready for paint, and some patch panels for the body. Oh! and fix the pins on my dash PCB. Lol.

Thanks Tony! I appreciate the comment! I'm not even mad about the pin coming out. I knew they were loose which is why I was removing it in the first place.

Hi Frank, and thanks for the comment. The thing that kicked my butt the first time i took it out was the clip holding the harness to the back of the cluster. I didn't know it was there, which is part of why I made this video. Good luck with yours!

I've got a 67 GTX and I need to repair the speedometer. How similar are the b-bodies to the a-body dash?

Good Morning @Creass and welcome to the channel! Assuming the GTX is the same configuration as the Coronet, there are a few differences in the removal process. First you will need to remove your heater control and radio knobs by loosening the set screws. Next, open the Glovebox door and leave it open. Your wiring harness should be clipped to either side of the steering column, instead of the back of the cluster. Disconnect those. You should have 8 screws on the upper and lower lip of the cluster you'll need to take out. From there you should be able to pull the cluster out and to the right a bit to get to the connections on the back. The biggest difference I see is that you should not have to drop the steering column. The Factory Service Manual details the removal process. You can find a free digital download here: mymopar.com/service-manuals/. I hope this was helpful.

And if you got bucket seats - take the driver's seat out! Upside down doesn't work for me.

Hello James! Welcome to the channel and thanks for the comment. I did end up taking the bench seat out when I removed the rest of the dash. Made life much easier. Buckets would be nice though. =)
