- I go about installing a torsion bar crossmember and floor pan for the first time in my 1967 Dodge Dart. Life throws us a couple of curve balls along the way. The placement of the torsion bar crossmember is critical and I am still very new to welding so this will be quite a challenge. I take plenty of measurements to ensure the torsion bar crossmember is right where it should be before welding it in place and moving on to installing the floor pans.
Good job on the floor for your first time!! Sorry about the trip to emergency! That's why we call it the death wheel!
Welcome Back Tony. It doesn't help that my dumb ass took the guard off, as it was blocking a cut I wanted to make, then promptly lost it. Already looking for a replacement. What did you think about the quality of this video? Better or worse than previous?

So far so good! Sorry to hear about the grinder mishap. I think everybody has one of those days, Usually by the time you make a second trip to the ER you sort of figure out what not to do. Anyway, speedy recovery and I'll look forward to the rest of the project.

Welcome to the channel Apple and thank you for the comment! I hope to avoid the same fate for my left hand. I make my living working with my hands so I really can't afford to mess them up to often. lol. I have learned a lot by watching Fitzee. I still need a ton of PRACTICE (had to make the firewall patch twice) but if not for him, Puddin's Fab Shop, and Make it Kustom. I wouldn't have the slightest idea what I need to do when it comes to body and frame work. Thanks again for dropping in and I hope to see you around.

Welcome back Dale! This one will. Just took a small chunk out of the knuckle. Went down to the bone though so it'll be a week or so before I can get back to car work.
Thanks for showing how not to use a grinder. The car looks OK though.

Good morning, JJ. Welcome to the channel, and thanks for the comment! I picked up the floor pans from Jegs. They are Sherman brand and if I had it to do again, I would I would have gotten the AMD pans. And when Jegs sends you two of the same pans, like they did with me, know that Sherman labeles them backwards. The right pan is for the drivers side and vice versa no matter what Jegs tells you.
