Im noticing HUGE SIMILARITIES between the first 5 Heisei and Reiwa seasons - Kuuga and 01: Simple insect designs -Agito and Saber: Mystic Warrior themed riders - Ryuki and Revice: Creature themed rider suits with animal companions -Faiz and Geats: Tech based animal motifs and with a gun weapon - Blade and Gotchard: Card themed tech warriors with animal based powers. -

To my understanding the numbers on the cards are levels each two cards. It’s a total level of 10 his base form will be using the hopper and steamliner to form steamhopper and I would guess pilets and madwheel will create a form called madpilets, I need two cards who have the little gauge at the bottom light up to 10 is a form. Not sure if there are going to be mixing matches for each combo but I’m going to assume there are not. And I’m also going to say, perhaps the Steamline is going to be his main focus of upgrades or at least a possible in organic lineup because if you look at each of the vehicle based cards, there’s like a type of face on the front of it, so I’m not sure if these will be monsters that get turned into cards, or if these are foreshadowing, what certain forms will look like in the future. Either way I’m loving this show already. It’s a mixture of blade Den-O and build all in one with possibly a splash of Fourze as well since it kind of looks like a steam punk astronaut.
I like how’s the driver has a two card slot feature to it for it's henshin gimmick which kind of reminds me of the similarity for the for the double driver like how you would insert two gaia memories in at the same time for it's henshin gimmick me also, which I like that.

At first, I hated the design but, once I saw the power up cards and, they were going Yu-Gi-Oh and, papercraft inspired look. Meaning the garishness and, silliness is the point. I fell in love with it. I hope the series lives up to the design.
I think the cards are supposed to be a reference to Yu-Gi-Oh with 1 being the lowest level and 10 being the highest level although the highest Level Monster in Yu-Gi-Oh is 12

Depends on what you mean by anniversary season. For Kamen Rider in general, yes. But this is the fifth Reiwa season, and typically anniversary seasons happen every five or ten years/seasons.

My theory is each card is a boost in certain attributes and skills. Like one card for strength, another for speed, kinda RPG-ish.
