Fun video, and proper Mongolian improvisation (using pan for kneading, water bottle for rolling, hahaha!). Next time try some vegan Mongolian style buuz. Meatless buuz is amazing, and so fun to experiment with. We eat different buuz every week.
I’ve actually made vegan buuz before for family and friends! I put some chopped up veggies instead of the meat 👍🏼 buuz is the best 🥟 thanks so much for watching and commenting too 😊
Ok so, I've been researching a lot about Buuz and I found this video. I loved that her name is Kavita, I had never heard that name, yours is also very different and beautiful. Thanks for the recipe, I will make it🙏🏻 (I loved the improvisation with the bottle, since where I live they don't have that kind of wood for sale...)
I studied at university in Mongolia. As a Turkish, I was really cold. I used to eat a lot of buuz during my stay there and now I realized that I miss buuz food. I will make it now, I hope it will be delicious
What do you do if you don't have a steamer? I am actually following the recipe now hahah I'll let you know what I used but I'm asking for the future xD
When i make dumplings, every single one becomes a new design😁 And that's with their own signature pattern which makes them very unique.Because i cant recreate them ever again🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂

You can slighlty flatten them and fry with a bit of oil for like gyozas. Thanks so much for trying!
@@AnushkaGee Thanks for the tip. I used my rice maker, they are delicious!!! Thank you for the recipe.
The salt plus maggi cubes that are salty!! :O
Rest: when you are trying to get the water to evenly distributed
Rise: when you are seeking to let yeast produce CO2 or let dough expand
Thanks Victor!
To be honest I never tried Mongolian food 🥘 but after I watching the food 🥘 i love 💕 to cook 👩🍳 the food 🥘 & eat them
No she’s right, it’s REST. It’s only “rise” if you’re putting yeast in it.
amazing work cutting the 3 hours of footage down to 12 mins bravo
Great video! I've passed it to Byaraa. Hope he can now learn how to make buuz :)

As long as it tastes great then that's what matters but I'm sure they also still look great even if different!
@@AnushkaGee it tastes good, but it doesn't look that appealing due the fact that they're not even and well put together😁😂
It’s more fun with your hands
Are you a Mongolian?
I miss the Buzz. So good and juicy.
You are so beautiful
