I can see the appeal but trust me as a newcomer to Mongolian buuz you want to avoid the juicy buuz, instead opt for buuz with less fat and water contents. Why? 1. The fat is not rendered like cooking on grill therefore it is oily and has distinctive taste. 2. The oils can quickly freeze up on the plate which makes it really messy to eat specially if you have sauce on the plate e.g soya, chilii or ketchup. 3. Easy to stain that lovely new shirt. 4. Careful what you drink afterwards as mixing oily food with cold drunk can lead to tummy troubles hence the salty milk tea goes well with Buuz or Huushuur.
Late January, every year of this time all mongolian do dumplings for Tsagaan sar. All family members together laughing, doing and spending time. But this year...
@@nicoflorence8342 don't be rude, Tsagaan Sar is a pretty big holiday here, it's time when all the family gather and visit each other! Hell some of us only see each other during tsagaan Sar after spending whole year not meeting. Besides because of Covid we know we have to stay inside anyway!
as a Slav and a dumpling enthusiast, I say good work on those dumplings or "pierogi" how we call them here. Try to fry them in oil or in the oven, they get really crispy. The combination of a crispy outer layer and a soft inside makes them worth more than gold.
