I tried to visit every weekend I could to make sure he knew I was still there, but maybe it had not been enough. The very last time I held him he was crying; making the weirdest noises and all all cuddles, he snuggled inside my jacket and his in my hair; and cried when I left(I assume it was crying, it was a noise I had never heard from him before) He was 15 years old and still my baby when he passed. I was devastated and it still bothers me, three years later. You really can’t just store a bird inside another house so quickly, if he has nobody else; especially you, he’ll get stressed and eventually die. Every time you left him alone, the stress built up, knowing he was alone.. it’s important you get at least two because stress will kill them. ;’(
Apparently, my recommendations decided that I should be sad. I’m sorry you lost your beloved little friend. He traded the wings that could not carry him in this life for new ones that would take him to Heaven. May you be reunited with him again someday. ❤️
My budgie Ramsey died last week, he was less than half a year old and he also loved apples. In fact, it was the onky fruit he willingly ate. May Denny and Ramsey eat apples together :)
My poor baby bird died 3 days before New Years all of the birds in the cage with her mistreated her. She didn’t do anything about it. And she died because one of them hit her and she was too weak to go on perches. I’m sure Ramsey was very good bird god bless you😢🙏😭

My grandmother passed over a year ago, almost two now. I inherited her already old lovebird and videos like this do make me sad for when he will eventually pass and join my grandmother. It makes me sad but it also makes me want to cherish every moment with my grandma’s bird even more ❤️

I underestimated the impact a birdy can truly leave on a person when I first got him, but we bonded and it was amazing. I remember how I would read posts and watch videos while holding him that would be paying tribute to the birds that have passed under their owner’s care, I remember thinking how awful it would make me feel to have him pass, I’d pet him and be happy he was still there with me. I still miss him so much and hope we can cross paths again in the next life. Birds are by far the best little guys out there

I've never met Denny until now, but I love him and hope he's happy and no longer suffering. He had amazing friends and caretakers and I'm sure he knew how loved he was. He got to rest in the warm arms of someone who loved him.
3 years. Denny has fought his suffering well. It must be sad beacuse he died in your hands. You took well care of him, but he could no longer stay with us. His suffer has now ended. His Beautiful wings are flying high now. 💔

in the quran it says when anything dies and its not human it turns to ash after sometime and animals dont go to heaven. however when you go to heaven because i know you will your budgie will soon be with you because you can ask allah for anything and you can ask him to see your bird or you can make dua now and ask allah to be greeted by him in heaven. i understand your pain and i personally have experienced this twice

): my lovebird died on October and I’ve still been struggling to get over his death, and I saw this video in my recommended today. I underestimated the impact a birdy can truly leave on a person when I first got him, but we bonded and it was amazing. I remember how I would read posts and watch videos while holding him that would be paying tribute to the birds that have passed under their owner’s care, I remember thinking how awful it would make me feel to have him pass, I’d pet him and be happy he was still there with me. I still miss him so much and hope we can cross paths again in the next life. Birds are by far the best little guys out there
My budgie blue died last week, from old age. He was more then just a pet budgie, he was also part of my family. I will trully miss him every day. 😢

Your heart hurts for a very long time. Nothing will ever replace the pet you lost, but from I've heard getting a new pet doesn't replace the original, but instead honors them.
