The Wehrmacht and the Luftwaffe weren't apart of the SS. The SS had to be true party members. True Nazis. The majority of the german military we'rent in the SS and were patriots fighting for what they believed in.

British Royal Airforce where a British Pilot got shamed by ground troops from Dunkirk because he wasn't their in Dunkirk providing air support he is later recognized as a hero during the battle of britain and dies by crashing would make a great war story, alot of pilots were shamed by ground troops in the british army especially at Dunkirk because most of the Royal Airforce had to be held back for the Battle of Britain and the troops stuck at Dunkirk would be pissed at the Airforce for not providing air support for them on the beach.
Dice is so clever, putting in that picture of the pilot’s wife and daughter. Such a tiny aspect that goes so under appreciated; Dice really put a lot of effort into BF5.
Yep I felt that in this mission I truly gained perspective that the war was everyone really fighting to defend their homes and families. Sure the leaders wanted bigger objectives and territories but the pilots and sailors and soldiers just fought to defend their homes
But this time the crosshairs didn't just find themsevlves on the soldiers on the frontlines, They found the workers in the factories, the commuters on the train and the children in the schools
The Luftwaffe now flying Eurofighter Typhoon and handfull of MiG-29, why not sign in and join assume if you were german, then it will be honor for you to serve your country.

Those german pilots were really brave men. By the end of the war it was pretty much a suicide mission attacking bombers with escort, even then the pilots would give their lives defending their cities from the ''liberation''. (Sry for the english, im not native).

Worst of all, they didn't any fully meant of defense if they get attack by enemy fighter except they have one MG with 60 shots, absolutely a joke as surviving elbe pilot said.
This is such a head nod to when you see the Sergeant of the Tank (Brad Pitt) in Fury look up as the clouds part, you hear the hundreds of American B-17's roaring above, and then you see a few vapor trails of a handful of German planes and what's left of the Luftwaffe, meeting the bombers head on. "That's right boys, keep poundin' 'em." Such a beautiful scene. This scene reminded of me of that.
Thats vapor trail on "Fury" scene mas me 262 dude. If u see "Red tails" there's scene a group of this jet fighters against hundred b-17 including p-51. In this game was bf 109 E series. But still showing the brave and pride of german pilots in the end of ww2.

When I played this part of the mission for the first time I completely freaked out and I actually got my parents and they couldn’t believe it either it looked that fantastic
They should’ve made a war story about this. It would be one of the best WW2 campaigns of any WW2 game in my opinion. I don’t know how many times I’ve replayed this intro just to play this 3 minute section. I noticed there was some cinematic scenes of fighters in a few of the various battlefield v trailers and even at the end of the intro. Was this possibly from an unfinished or ditched war story?
A lot did but they didn't wish to confront them. Called being a bystander. Remember what mueller said "but you were there". Problem is we'll never know because anything that would give us an idea were burned by the suspects, who knew if we found em it would be easier to find em.

Same with the "Under No Flag" campaign, the driver had a picture of a woman, possibly his wife. Very subtle details can change the way we view things.

And the Hitler youth wasn’t always voluntary. Many kids who had aryan features were hand picked and forced into it.
