I recently picked up a 2021 Tundra, I've been in a 1990 FJ62 and a 2003 Tacoma for the last 15 years... I'm a little worried my Tundras size will be an issue simply because I'm used to smaller trucks. I'm excited I found your channel today, looking forward to binge watching some videos. Thanks!
The tundra can be intimidating because of the size. I have been they some right tight stuff and you just have to learn to move slower and with more caution. It will surprise you capable it is. The only downfall is the long wheelbase. Get body and undercarriage protection and you are good.
Thanks for the video, fun little trail but unfortunately we don’t have a large amount of trails in West Virginia unless your running a side by side then there seems to be no end.
Check out FR17>FR18>Olsen observation tower next time you are in town. Nothing crazy but definitely high clearance and one bad washout. Take the time to check out Douglas Falls before heading up the mountain as well. Richford rd>the dry fork of the cheat river crossing is also a classic of that area just south. It has a few side roads if I remember as well. Oh, and maybe there is a time when those gates are open but I’ve never seen it. I’ve been told you can access red run rd FR244(the first one you came to) from the south but it will always be gated at the north end where you saw. There are also a tone of power line trails near the fairfax stone that are never gated and are totally legal as far as I can tell.

I take my bike down this trail all the time just for an easy ride. It's a great place for anyone who like exploring outside.
