I own the EDP, Florale and Sensuelle(sp?) and love and rank them, in that order. The EDP is an easy year-round fragrance, while the Florale is lovely when it’s warmer and the Sensuelle is nice for colder times. I just got my hands on the Intense, for a really good deal… but while it’s lovely on paper, on my skin the amped up patchouli and licorice turned “skinny”, during test #1. (I’ll give it one more try…. before deciding if it’s a keeper or not.) So far, I’ve not seen the Sparking Bouquet, here in stores in the US… but I’m looking forward to checking it out… based on your description. I’m someone that doesn’t have “high expectations” regarding longevity… as long as it lasts 4-5 hours… especially for a warm spring or hot summer appropriate scent. (I’d rather reapply, than choke everyone around me, during that time.) Less than 2 hours would be disappointing, though.

The edt version is the best ! Fresh, clean and gurmand 😍
I have to admit that I didn’t like Mon Geurlain at first sniff at the perfume counter. A few months ago I revisited it and I had it sprayed on my wrist and kept going back to sniff it and fell in love. I have three different flankers now and my next purchase will be the intense 💜 I’m definitely in love now. Thank you for the gorgeous review Sal!

So i finally got a decant of Mon Guerlain Intense about 1 month ago and I love it!!! So freaking pretty and I actually already used it up! Definitely going to buy more. Just love that scent. And love that it intesified the vanilla and sandalwood but you can still smell the lavender and original dna. Thanks for sharing about all of these ! I'd love to try all of them, though i dont care for citrus either so maybe not that one. Lol. (And glad to know you dont care for citrus as i was starting to think i was the only one. ) 😊
Yeah, it’s lemon in particular that I really struggle with! I’ve used up a lot of my intense too and can see it being a re purchase ❤️
I have the original edp and the intense version. I like both so much. The intense was my scent of the day 🙂

Mon Guerlain Intense is also my favorite MG flanker. It is rich, long-lasting and with a great sillage. Mon Guerlain is my favorite perfume brand. I only have but a few niche perfumes to compare it to.
They are incredible! And yess the intense is something else 😍♥️
So interesting that you get a lemon note in the Florale. That doesn’t come out on my skin at all. I’ve been debating if I should replace it now that it is almost out with another flanker.

Have you tried the Sensuelle version? I'm super interested! People compare it to Mon Exclusif, which I've always wanted to try.

Florale is my favourite, so sad that it was discontinued 😭 I haven't tried Sensuelle but it is gone too :( hope another flanker is on the way!

It’s probably not what I would consider to be a gourmand, and it’s not overly sweet either. It’s sweet in a subtle natural way, very deep and rich, I adore it ❤️

I absolutely love Mon Guerlain EDP. I want the Intense version next and then I'll be good on my flankers. The original is so beautiful. I don't normally enjoy lavender scents but wow this is just stunning. I'm always surprised when a perfume that has a note I dont normally like is stunning to my nose. I love being surprised by a fragrance and this is exactly what happened with Mon Guerlain EDP.
Edited to add: ok now I want to try Sparkling Bouquet as well!!
So funny you should mention that, I have noticed that with a few perfumes recently for example L’interdit intense has a note of black pepper and sesame which I didn’t think I’d like at all, but I love the scent! Such a pleasant surprise ❤️ omg the mon Guerlain intense is my favourite from the line, it’s so so good!
Want to start by saying I love Guerlain 😍. There’s something about their scents that smells so refined, sophisticated, feminine (haven’t ever smelled the male scents). I love powdery and lavender. Recently I couldn’t decide whether to get Insolence or this.. I’d tried a sample of Insolence and liked it but didn’t know what Mon Guerlain smelled like. I bought Insolence but received a mini bottle of Mon Guerlain. I have to concur that it’s so pretty, floral, pretty, classy, not old fashioned but mature. If wear it more but I only got a mini bottle. I would wear it to a job interview, or work if I went out to work, or to meet people’s family. It brings to mind strolling down a sunny street filled with blossom on a spring day to me. Not tried any of the flankers 😩.

It’s so weird how noses and skin can differ. On me the edt smells warm and sweet with just a touch of the lavender. The citrus only lasts a few minutes on me. The original edp is still my favorite and the florale is my least favorite. I love it but the dry down has a strong sandalwood that gives me a headache. I really want to try intense!
I have the exact same experience with the EDT: it smells sweet on me, but also very aromatic with the lavender, I ADORE it!
Intense it is. In my list. ♥️

The EDT was beautiful but it disappeared on me so I sold it. I have the Original EDP, Floraré and Bloom of Rose EDP. I just bought the BOR EDT and I can’t wait

I have Mon Guerlain edp, edt and Bloom of rose edp😊 and the best is edt for me, than bloom or rose edp and than original edp. 😊

I get a strong medicinal scent from Mon guerlain EDP - is that the licorice? It almost smells to me like Dr Pepper. But idk what note that is.
I smell that medicinal note also, when I first spray it. Then it goes away. The dry down is what I look forward to the most as I don’t detect the medicinal note at that point.
I'm like so overdue with this comment lol I'm sorry I just had to stop by and ask! I been into the mon guerlain perfumes for awhile now...never had any of them though cause I'm afraid theyll be to grandmaish...and I wont like them lol...the one I really would buy is the intense version of the mon guerlain. Would u say that one is for the younger generation because it's so sweet..? Or would u say it's for older as in maybe 30 and up and kinda powdery ? I like musky sweet perfumes ...flower isnt my thing it all. ..lol I'm 22 so yea I'm still young. I don't mind fruit just not too fruity.
Hi Lisa, it depends what you consider to be sweet. To me the intense is sweet, but in a very subtle natural way. It isn’t sweet if you compare it to the likes of Ariana Grande sweet like candy, or poison girl for example. The mon Guerlain line is sophisticated to me, and some may find them too mature if you prefer more youthful types of scents. I hope this is helpful, I would recommend sampling first and wouldn’t blind buy them just in case. 💗

I'm a huge fan of the house of Guerlain and own Samsara, L'instant, La petit robe noir, Shalimar and Mon Guerlain all of them sweat , seductive and absolutely stunning. Shalimar is my least favourite.

You recommend sampling first! Where can you purchase Mon Guerlain samples from, or indeed any perfume samples? I have managed to purchase a few random perfumes from Feelunique but unfortunately nowhere selling samples for Mon Guerlain. Boots, Superdrug or The Perfume shop don't stock it plus it is never possible to try any niche perfumes unless you journey out to a big city.
Hello :) I order lots of samples of niche perfumes from Notino, as for mon Guerlain samples, have you tried contacting Guerlain to ask them to send some to you? As a general rule I always recommend sampling to be on the safe side, as I wouldn’t want anyone to be disappointed with their purchase. Thanks for watching 💕

I much prefer to sample perfume on my skin as I suffer from migraines and although I can tolerate some smells, they may smell totally different when I wear them ending up with me suffering from a migraine. Does anyone know if there are any US or Asian fragrance companies that DO NOT follow the ridiculous IFRA regulations which have virtually destroyed fragrances. I’m sorry, I’ve gotten really wrapped up in perfume reviewers and spent thousands of dollars to ultimately be disappointed. I feel like we’ve lowered the bar, now telling people that perfumes are supposed to be “skin scents” and coming out with all of these new Uber expensive fragrances that are SO subpar in performance and, honestly wouldn’t performance be the number one quality one should look for in a fragrance e bc what the hell good is a beautiful scent that can’t be detected in mist time under an hour? We are like a bunch of addicts searching for that first high (in this case scent) that we will never have again. Unless regulations are lifted or some fragrance house miraculously discovers a new substance that will give back longevity and sillage, I’m done wasting my money on products that now perform worse than teenage body sprays. Y’all have at it....keep the industry thriving on consumer gullibility.
