WoW Creatures Size Comparison - According to the Lore

- Size comparison between most of the main characters in World of Warcraft.
I tried my best to find official sources on all of them but for some there simply isn't anything and in those cases I followed official artwork and in-game size.
Some characters can change their size using magic (Archimonde) so it's hard to be extremely accurate with everything.
Old Gods don't actually look like that but that is their full body size according to the lore. (Y'Shaarj was even bigger but there are no models of him)

To those wondering why the old gods are huge in this video is because they are depicted here at there full power when they were free.
Most surprising to me was how tiny the Jailer was compared to Odyn, as well as how huge Alextrasza and Deathwing were.
I lost it twice. The first time when little Anboni was dancing on Galakrond. The second time when you mentioned Bobby's bonus. My goodness what a rollercoaster of a video
That dance animation was hilarious.

Given his concept art in Hearthstone.. you´d assume he would look very similar (if not completely similiar to one of the Sha)
Y'shaarj is bigger than the other old golds, he was the strongest among them, the Titans straight up ripped him out of azeroth with gave us the Maelstrom, his death screams levelled entire mountain ranges around the planet

@@povved161 u right, the well of eternity exploding is the maelstrom, my bad, i think the well was the wound y'shaarj created when aman'thul ripped him from the crust of azeroth, but cz their tentacles burrowed so deep they almost killed the world soul in azeroth, so they patched it up with the well and thats why its uber magic water that evolved trolls into elves
we know the size of its heart. if you use that for scale and use a human (maby +20% for fantasy reasons) we may know how big it was.
and yes, you can see its "base" in the well of eternity dungeon. Quite large, but not as wide, as one would assume.

Seeing the undead doing all the really cool emotes makes me wish wow had more of them.
What I find the scariest is that average Pandaren is bigger than average Orc.
The vid isn't 100% accurate. This is going more off game sizes despite saying lore accurate. Arthas didn't magically grow a couple feet when he became the Lich King.
The Blood Elves are still Night Elves, despite the change of allegiance, so they should be the same size, technically; Orcs are about 2-ish feet taller than Humans - and Forsaken are still Humans, just dead, so they should ALSO be the same size.
@@skarpethinn Nah, Blood and Night Elves have been separated for over 6000 years I believe. High Elves just became shorter over time. As for Forsaken, poor posture makes them appear smaller

@@Servellion well Illidan was still night elf, Archimonde a Draenei etc. We often see in Warcraft that power makes physically bigger the ones who wield it.

they don't have to be bigger, their corrupting powers are good enough.

because that was wayyyy before chronicles established titans as planet-sized. before that, a titan could beat an old god in 1v1 (and especially sargeras considering he was the strongest) but a single titan would loose against multiple old gods.

thats true for all the old gods. all of them are as big as continents underground. c'thun for example is basically just as big as yogg. and y'shaarj was the biggest of them all, uncontested. the large majority of their bodies is just buried deep in the earth.

Out of all of these, I have to admit...regardless of size, the most terrifying for me is that Whale Shark...
And the most Dread inducing...Is the Fel Reaver...
Especially when you have a quest near him...

Strange to see how tiny the dragons in WoW are next to the dragons in GW2.
Dragons in GW2 narratively are much closer to Old Gods than WoW dragons

Okay if this is somewhat accurate, then the old gods are significantly bigger parasites in poor Azeroth than I imagined.
Like those videos where they pull like a whole thumb out of a cats nose.
It is, the Old Gods are continent sized in the lore, which is why ripping out Yshaarj severely damaged the planet and the titans opted to contain the old gods rather than pull them all out and kill Azeroth's world soul in the process.
The "Old Gods" we fought in game were the equivalent of zits swelling out of their true bodies buried beneath the earth, or used to be until the lore retconned those fights into straight up killing the old gods (why did they do that???)

Bobbys Bonus is Too OP, it scales Beyound Outerversal and can solo any fiction it can buy.
so what im missing here is zandalari trolls and kul'tirans, pretty sure ZT's are slightly higher than the avg troll and that KT's are taller than avg humans

It wasn't too bad. >10k frames took about ~3-4 hours. I could have rendered with a more advanced engine which would have looked a LOOOOT better but I tried it and it took one frame from ~10 sec to 3+ minutes. :(

@@jameschristophercirujano6650 - Nothing in lore ever says the Blood Elves "shrank" in any way, so they should still be about the same height as Night Elves, from which they split off, even tho it was 6000 years ago. Same with the Undead - death desiccates you, it doesn't make you shorter - so Undead should still about the same size as Humans! And lore has established that Orcs are approx 8' tall - so if humans are, on average, approx 6' tall, then Orcs are about 2' feet taller; so...

Accurate Old God size proves we did not truly kill them. Only killed a itty bitty extension of their forms.
