11:38 They won USL league 1 in 2021 and the players shield in 21' & 23' that is why they have 1 star on top and the stars on the shield simbolize the night (when OWLS come out)
You're right Drew. Our country is really big. I saw someone talk about Brazil and how they do it because Brazil is really big too. In the UK, the clubs are practically on top of one another (many times). I think, as the sport expands, we'd be forced to do things regionally and have conference type playoffs. This was a fun video. Thanks, Drew.
Now please make a video about how the schedule would be for all 50 teams. Would there be divisions or 2 conferences? My thought is 2 conferences (east and west obviously like now). Have every team in a conference play each other once. (Every year you switch which team plays at home or away example: 2025 season MNUFC vs LAFC at MN then 2026 season MNUFC vs LAFC at CA). Then also include 12 non conference games. (Also switching which teams are played every year, so after 3 years each team has played every team in the league). That makes for a 36 game season (current MLS season is 34 games). I can't decide for playoffs. Maybe top 4 teams from each conference (1 v 4 and 2 v 3) with 2 leg playoff. Same with the semi final round. Then the playoff winner from each conference plays one another in a 1 game final.
posible format: 25 teams / conference (x2 every team in your conference so 48 games lmao) cause yes MLS loves playing a lot of games for almost all teams to make playoffs . 16 teams per conference make playoffs so the playoffs is basicly a WC but in K.O style ( final 4 home and away (yay more games) and without conference hopefully it makes sense
The same exercise in Mexico is a little easier as there are 32 states and the pyramid has only 5 leagues, although with 3 states I had to scratch the bottom of the barrel

Glad you enjoyed it Man!
@@kickingitwithdrewjust wanted to add that historically DC United is a pretty important team.
The Capital of Texas is Austin btw. And they have a team. Austin FC.
ready to make this in Football Manager

Guy, MLS doesn't keep "expanding and expanding". MLS is simply growing into a true MAJOR LEAGUE,Ike every other Major League sport, 30 to 32 teams.
15:08 Great team and fans (for USL LEAGUE 2) also one of the best crests and kits of all the teams in this map

Ha, didn't realize my hometown in Alaska even had a team
Sioux Falls is pronounced "sue falls" I grew up in Minnesota where the native tribe Sioux is also from.
Thank you!!
Dawg, Austin is the capital of Texas… But fuck Dallas and Austin
Lmfaooooooo thanks bro.
Loudoun Utd? NOT..
Virginia's team Will always be Richmond Kickers
Yeah, isn't Loudoun just DC United II team?
@@ciesum Technically it is no longer their B squad, but they are still a minority owner
Can't see this going well for a team in Alaska and Hawaii. Considering they quite literally have no team near compared to the other 48 states.
Definitely getting relegated

The lack of general knowledge is astonishing
Not Massachusetts
There are at least 10 states with smaller population than the Greater Columbus area. A team in every state is dumb.
lol ok
Too small
Good point. Thanks kid
