Wonderful it took me awhile to realize this was the link to where to purchase the song.
Finally, that is her face when she really has to concentrate. Marvelous. Make a long player, win a Grammy, become acknowledged legends.
So focused, she looks unfocused. Not even looking down at her kit. Must be a Zen thing 😁
She could be focused on Ai in the other room. When YOYOKA plays a gig she is often focused on her band mates watching for cues
@@semprini77watching Ai through the glass and vice versa.
Nice jazz 👌
@@Rob-Yule humour is not in every case only to be found in the cellar. It's a jocose remark.
For Yoyoka fans who don't know this pianist, Ai Furusato is a 12-year-old living in Machida, Tokyo. She was born in 2011 to parents who run a jazz bar. In February of this year, She was accepted into Berklee College as the youngest student ever. She will soon be moving to the US. Incidentally, the world-famous violinist Akiko Suwanai is also from Machida. I'm also from Machida, and when I was the age of AI and Yoyoka, I was fighting with a Shiba Inu.
Well... looks like you won the fight.^^
Thanks, I was looking for information about Ai.
I would have never guessed she was so young. What is a Shiba Inu?
@@Vaitamanu The Shiba Inu is a Japanese breed of dog. It was my family's pet at the time.
@@Vaitamanuthat is the dog that is representing the Doge coin.
This is what I’d expect to hear in some of the most renowned jazz clubs in the world. Outstanding!
not really... or maybe 40 years ago..
@@michaelciancetta6397 That's a compliment. Jazz was more prevelant from 1950-1990. These kids can help restore popular music by infusing jazz into pop/rock/funk/soul music. Very fre pop musicans have jazz chops any more.
@@chicagotouch9319 no it's not a compliment.. kids are doing well but this is not what is needed if you really wanna restore pop or jazz music.. you need innovation and fresh ideas for that and there is none here atm.. when they grow up? maybe but not necessarily.. so let's call this as it is.. kids having fun
@@michaelciancetta6397 Extremely talented kids having fun.
@@irish66 talent is something else
Perfect dancing partners, bringing out the best in each other. Finding myself coming back to experience this piece again and again. Both of them have truly excelled, pushing the envelope. Hope we see them get together many more times in future. Marvelous!
You young ladies are absolutely SWINGIN’!!! Wow!!!
What are they putting in the water lately in Japan? These ladies are out of this world amazing.
The combined radiation of the hydrogen bombs and Fukushima incident have mutated their DNA to superhuman levels. That's my theory anyway.
JK, sort of. Lololol
Godzilla level of talent. @@suicyconaut
that is other-worldly. How do you not have a combined 80-100 years of experience between the two of you?
Seriously!
Japan occasionally pops out some incredible prodigies. The drummer Senri Kawaguchi started playing professionally at 14 and was only 16 when her first album was released. The pianist Hiromi Uehara was already playing with professional orchestras at 14.
@@theonlycaulfield
Hiromi is an amazing musician. I’ve only seen her once with the Trio Project and it’s a performance I’ll never forget.
She is my idol, too
When the end and silence you see both musicians eyes come back to reality. Thank you for sharing your journey!
Fantastic... you play well together ...more please
Is there anything this young woman can't do? From "Keychain" to jamming with Simon Phillips and now a modern jazz composition...just incredible!
This is absolutely mind blowing. Amazing performance!
Your reaction brought me here... Peace and love from Bavaria!
every time I watch yoyoka and guest Iam utterly stunned by the musical maturity that comes from these two young ladies. It’s such an honor to witness budding stars performing their talents way beyond their years. Amazing and thank you 😊
Wonderful ... this is what I've been waiting for from Yoyoka. The classic rock covers were all very well done, but now we're really going somewhere new!
Fabulous! When you combine two masters of their craft together you get pure magic. After seeing a preview of this on YOYOKA’s VLOGs I was hoping for a full release soon!
i sense a Grammy, for these two young talented ladies.
wow thank you all m.
Yes...and water is wet...haha.
Another beautiful collaboration and a beautiful piece of music. What is fascinating about Yoyoka is the ease with which she plays different styles of music without any problems and with authority, precision and confidence. The mark of a pro.
"Life without music is a mistake." - Friedrich Nietzsche
Thank you to both of you young ladies for brightening up all of our lives with your wonderful music. What great musicianship between the two of you. You are perfect together as you bring out the best in each other. 🎼🎹🥁
This is a wish come true for fans of this duo. First heard Ai and Yoyoka in 2023. So many of us hoped this collaboration would manifest. Great music by 2 magnificent prodigies!
You know it brother!
Two outstanding musical talents coming together to create melodic magic. I can't wait! 🙂
And now I add to my comment to say that what you have created here is truly beyond words. The chords, the drums... everything on this track is a thing of beauty and perfection. Amazing!
It was everything I hoped it would be. Brilliant!
I came in with no expectations. But it was really nice to see such a collaboration. Showing off your skill is one thing. But working together with someone else like this takes things to another level. Because it's not just skill but syncing and being in a flow state with someone else. At that point you become part of something larger, something that transcends the normal ideas of Self.
Fun fact: Science has shown that when people get into a shared flow state like this their brain waves even start to sync.
Superb!! What talent and feel. Please do more of this.
Wow!!!! That was really wonderful. I've been following YOYOKA for a few years and this song really shows her talent. Ai and YOYOKA really play well together. Bravo 🌺🌼❤️💜🎶
Watching: Yoyoka is deeply relaxed. She keeps her shoulders completely down. Absolutely impressive 🥰
Wynton Marsalis when being interviewed about working with Joey Alexander (who was 12 or 13 at the time) said that Jazz does not have a tradition of Child Prodigies like classical music. He said Jazz is a music for and by adults. He was completely blown away by Joey's genius and maturity in his music. I think these two and Joey might be the start of a tradition of young Jazz prodigies.
Change
Wow! Sooo good! Ai and Yoyoka are amazing musicians indeed. With the talent these two young ladies possess, the future of great music will never fade away..
Wow great musicianship from both of you. really enjoyed this.
That was pretty special. Thankyou!
Piano, being played with hammers, is also a percussion instrument; Percussive perfection...
First jazz song I have listened to in its entirety.
Speaks volumes for the talent on show here today...
This fills my heart with joy let's my spirits fly...fantastic...!!! Arigatō both of you...
Jazz is not my favorite music. Love the pure Rock...BUT I got to admit that is FANTASTIC!
Very nicely done ladies. Very pleasing to the ears.
I'm speechless.
Yoyoka's gone to PLAID!!! just awesome.
It's great you collaborate with artists with varying backgrounds. You and Ai played very well together. I hope you and your family have a great August!
Wow, so good. Both are very talented and Yoyoka's performance is mesmerizing.
delight to my ears, food for my mind. amazing !! Swing that Jazz !!!
So reminds me of the days when Chris and I would hit the local jazz club for an evening of great music, food and love. If you were still here Chris this is what we'd be doing tonight.. I'll turn this up in hopes you'll hear it in heaven..
And there it is: the next musical evolution from the immensely talented Yoyoka, and an introduction (to me) to the similarly-talented Ai on piano. I hear traces of Hiromi's music in here (who is an absolute favorite of mine). Keep pushing, keep evolving, keep giving the planet reasons to believe that the world of instrumental music is in good hands for the foreseeable future.
Best Jazz you've done!
Yoyoka, you are amazingly talented. Ai and you just did a brilliant job. Jazz music can be some of the most difficult music to play and y'all made it look easy and natural.
Keep up the phenomenal work and best of wishes to you in all of your future endeavors; and Ai as well.
🎶🎹🥁🎶🙏❤️👍🫶
Yoyoka has such a great feel for music; it’s no wonder she can slay at jazz or any other genre. Not familiar with Ai, but she is terrific too! 😎👍
Sunday morning. Listening to the miraculous performance by those two girls, I realized tears of joy were wetting my cheeks.
Amazing
Very cool
Oh yeah! That's just 100% nice. Thanks ladies.
Love this music..
Brilliant
Hey genius duos.
Incredible artistry but the sound mix and video editing was equally incredible! Thank you for sharing this with the world!
You just keep impressing me YOYOKA, and AI.
✌🏻🐰
Wonderful! Spectacular! Yoyoka + Ai = Magic!
Fantastic!! Really!!
On Yoyokas channel Ai gets the audience and attention she deserves.
Just heavenly!
Perfect!
14 and 12 years of age!!! 😲
Two musicians. Nothing missing.
Wow, what a remarkable performance from these two exceptional young talents who are poised to become prominent figures in the global music industry in the future. Congratulations, YOYOKA and AI FURUSATO. Never forget that, work, discipline, perseverance, self-confidence, determination, passion, and tenacity are some of the keys to success.

That was incredible!
This is your BEST WORK yet! Yes please, a long player in this vein. That jazz-open, classical, prog, drumetrics field.
Absolutely fantastic, ladies! There is complexity and richness in this number. You two work well together. I hope you continue. Thanks.
GREAT collaboration!!! This should be incorporated into a Peanuts cartoon.
Since AI is going to music school in Boston, maybe she moves to the US too. I could see the US becoming famous for having talented Musicians, many from Japan!
Amazing… Yoyoka’s album is going to have a taste of everything if I am guessing correctly. 🐰🥁🐰🥁🐰
Talent overload.🥁🎹
Wow! Both musicians are unbelievable!
If you want to practice TIMING, this is what you play. Well done.
Yeah…. This is awesome! What a treat, double extraordinary talents.
Was hoping for these two to collaborate.
This is not the first time. Search for "furusato" on this channel and watch "This Moment - Ai Furusato" on her channel.
Thats is realy a very perfekt an harmonik playing. Running like a stream across the country. And those two Instruments where talking to each other. They had to tell a lot. And they were not a bit shy. Great the two of you. Give uns more please❤😊🎵🕊️
Jazz speaks to me. It just matters who's voice it's using. YOYOKA and Ai any day.
That was INCREDIBLE! By BOTH players. Their interplay was infectious. I felt every note and beat! Good grief, ...the dynamics, the surprises, ...I will listen to this repeatedly!
First time I heard her play Jazz! I knew I'd be impressed! Yoyoka always reigns supreme!
Then listen to the albums she recorded with the Ken Okada group. Also on this channel.
Very nice! I'm not a jazz fan but I get that it's challenging.
Thank you both, absolutely wondeful
lovely, thx for sharing
Wow ! Perfect ! You are both vertuosos ❤
Fantastic!
Physical media, please.
CDs and vinyl lps.
Some mighty tasty licks here; love that hi-hat/floor tom crossover as much as Simon Phillips does. 🥁👏🏻
LOL, are you referring to the one YOYOKA did that he asked if he could steal it!

Wow. Nice.
It’s great to hear some jazzy stuff and you can play the heck out of it too 😊😊👍
!!!!!!! Left for words.
Brava!!!
Batman and Robin? Nah, you two are the dynamic duo! That was some of the most scintillating jazz I’ve heard in a while. Just goes to prove that talent and genius do not discriminate age! Bravo, both!
Awesome 👏👏👏👏👏
Wow ❤ love it so much!! Both so talented!
Cool! reminds me a little of Dançando No Paraíso from Hiromi's first album. Yoyo-chan is SMOKING on drums!
