    Love the colours together. So many different ways to use them. When I get my kitchen back (renovations!!), I want to try a challenge like this.

    I’d love to see the same pallet but more lichen and less Kelly green. The colors you’re using are lovely

      Lichen is such a lovely color. I think that this combination you suggested would be stunning.

    Oooo goodie! A new video! Such a delight to see how the alternative ways of applying the dye affect the outcome.

    Awesome challenge! Really enjoyed to see the different techniques with the same colors. Yes, would love to see more experiments like this one! So fun!!🤩

    I'm really loving how the lichen plays with other colours, I need to buy some. I'm a bit hindered right now, our city had a huge watermain break and we are being warned to reduce water consumption dramatically.

      It is so frustrating to have less access to water!

    This has been very inspiring thankyou. 🥰 I would love to see you do more of this idea, as you mentioned, making a collection of yarns in the same colours group, but almost like a fade, with different techniques.

    I love this colorway! Pink and green is a favorite color combination.
    If you want to set up a studio somewhere that isn't your kitchen (which is totally understandable), you can always look into gas camp stoves. Coleman makes a 2 burner stove that may work for you.

      OOO that's not a bad idea. I have a feeling that I'll end up going for an induction cooktop if I ever build a studio somewhere.

    I'd love to see a video where you explain the difference between colors that have struck vs. have been set. And I'd love to see you play with the time to see the effects (as soon as a color strikes take it out vs 5, 10, 30 min. of heating time. )

    I totally agree with you. Doing a dip dye or even another resist but with just the first 2 greens and the pink was a beautiful look. I think the white makes it all set off so well so I think a resist would work better then a dip dye. But then again, I adore resist and how it looks. Resist is my all time favorite.

      Resists are so much fun. I have a lot of indigo projects coming up which involves a lot of resist!

    Who's thunk pink and green looks like a garden

    • @ChemKnitsTutorials
      @ChemKnitsTutorials  3 месяца назад +1

      It's funny the associations I get. WHen I end up with a muted rainbow palette, I think bird... with greens and pinks I think garden. :D

    I find Kelly Green too intrusive in garden themes, it steals the show and always disappoints me somehow. I love garden themes and especially inspiring is the art of twisting as resist. Thanx.

      I would love to try these colors without the kelly, too. Kelly and Emerald both spread so much that they do end up taking over the character of the colorway.
