This film should remind everyone of the things human beings went through to be where we are now. All life is precious, and for the sake of hundreds of thousands of people that went through the pure definition of hell, we should see our life as a privilege and not a right. No one in this lifetime will ever know the suffering that went on and it is our right as people to ensure that we treat every colour, every race from every nationality, with the same respect that we wish upon ourselves.
@@charleskershaw2227 You call having a black president, black politicians, and desegregating schools taking steps backward? Respectfully, your opinion is overwhelming.
True comments from Dan I am just shocked not more likes for the comments for life being precious and to treat others better but greater likes for the song. Song is amazing but the real message is to be kinder to each other🙏🏽
When I first watched the movie, it wasn't hard emotionally. Except of the ending. When Solomon returned home and saw how much time he was stolen of because of cruelty and animal agressiveness of other people... I was fucking torn apart in the end.
Emotional and devastating cinema that lingers in the sub conscience of guilt. A faultless film on all levels in its execution. The haunting soundtrack perfectly compliments the disquieting sorrow in ways that few soundtracks are able to do.
A movie does not have to be all about special effects. Sometimes a true story with a trembling reality is all it takes to even make a strong person think about the meaning of things in life. Combined with an amazing soundtrack that makes you see, feel, taste, hear and sense the tremendous horror in your deepest soul. My dad called the movie boring, I call it a lifechanger, a must see for everyone. Its not a entertainment movie, it is an educational one!
A brilliant yet shocking film which should be a great reminder of the horrors that mankind bestowed upon itself and should never be forgotten. This score couldn't be more representative of such sorrow and the subsequent assuagement of such.
as Harrison Ford said in 42, "you're going to meet God some day, and when he asks you as to why you didn't want him to play (jackie), 'because it's for the good of baseball' may not be a sufficient reply!
i cried and always will cry to this song if you guys here this look back at life and think how disrespectfull u guys or ladys were to your mothers all they tried to do was give you love and you guys would just look at yah mothers and say idc fuck her fuck this fuck that nooo all your mother wabted was to talk to you and give you love trust if you guys look back and think of your mother and how much love she wabted to give you and you threw it away trust your going to cry to this song

Sensacional e tocante essa canção, por um momento consigo sentir a dor desses irmãos ao serem distanciados dos seus familiares e direitos de liberdade, com certeza esse meu sentimento não chega nem de perto com a verdadeira dor que sentiam.😢
It's truly scary what people must have gone through in those days and STILL to this day are victim of. Only now our prison is not on a farm. It's called your home.
Reading the books of the New Testament, we probably asked ourselves more than once: *"Why 2000 years we do not see those miracles that accompanied the Сhurch of Christ in the I century, as described in the New Testament?"* Why do the so-called preachers of Christ have to prove that Jesus really existed and atheists boldly deny the historicity or divine origin of Christ? Maybe because the Сhurch of Christ has not existed for 2000 years? The Сhurch does not exist in the form in which it is presented in the books of the New Testament, but there are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other christian sects claiming to be the place of the Church, but they not have the only thing that distinguishes the divine from the human and is characteristic of just the Сhurch of Christ -the reinforcement of the word with signs, that is, miracles (Mark 16:15-20). Therefore, some researchers doubt the historicity of Christ, and some of them are not opposed to declaring him a an ordinary philosopher, teacher. But even if Jesus were an ordinary philosopher, his disciples would be ordinary followers of Jesus. And they would not dare to write about the miracles that not only Jesus, but also his disciples, could perform. In this world, the great fertility of atheism can be explained by the fact that there is no main opponent of critics of the Bible - the Church. If there were the Church in our time as described by the authors of the New Testament books, where miracles are performed, the sick are healed, where prophesied, and the dead are raised, no one would doubt the historicity of Christ. Then there would be the same controversy throughout the world as in the first century - Jesus the Son of God or the false prophet who seduces the world by miracles. As a result, we can say that the emergence and development of christian sects and atheism was the result of the fact that over the 2000 years the Сhurch of Christ did not exist. I can only guess that Hanz refused (at the request of the film-makers) to actually commercially release the OST and that annoyed people. Its not on any network and the OST went of limited release only. Its a lauded OST as well which doesn't help

This film made me cry. But not just cry, I was sobbing for ages after the credits had finished. I just couldn't stop crying.
Im not ashamed that I listened to the whole thing. This is beautiful.

Hauntingly beautiful and deep. Captures essence of a man in deep sorrow, with dignity and yet never, ever giving up.

I think this track is the best to let all your emotions come out whosoever have suffered a great loss in life
Hats off to hans zimmer sir
what a masterpiece. I want this song in my funeral.
You won't be listening at all. :-)
Cesar Marinho That's not funny bro. 🙄😑
Takes an inspiration from other Zimmer's piece Time (Inception). Beautiful. Zimmer is one of the greatest composers of our time.
I would venture to say that he is one of the greatest composers of all time.
Thought I recognized the mood of the music and what do you know? It's Hans Zimmer.
Same here
I believe in all mighty God. may my parents and my beloved wife rest in peace.

Sorry.
Never forget and NEVER AGAIN.

It is only me or this remarkable song sounds like an another Zimmer's song "Time"?!
Zimmer reuses his own music a lot. This song is almost exactly the song "Time" from Inception. Don't know why people call him the greatest composer.
Sounds like 'Song for Bob' by Nick Cave & Warren Ellis
GOOSEBUMPS.
thx
Soo deep emocional perverz to the movie.
love it
Filme sensacional 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
people were turning away from the screen at various points in the film, practically the whipping scene.
Okay, I know this has nothing to do with it but dont you think it somewhat sounds like the walking dead Alive Inside btw love this song.

music level the soundtrack of hans zimmer is very similar to that of inception

the movie disgusted me and I felt this song to my core.
Crying angry how dare one race oppress and brutalize people evil. What our ancestors had to suffer through Dear god please them be at peace ..
That is exactly the same as Time from Inception
