It just breaks my heart the way he says "I didn't have anywhere else to go." The people who sacrifice their luxury of having a normal life to protect others' end up being all alone at the end of the day. It's upsetting that we need people like them and yet we do cuz they're the guardian angels.

I wish they kept this scene... It shows a side of Quinn we didn't get to see until very late in the show

Phenomenal scene. Really wish they didn’t get rid of it. Adds so much more depth and complexity to Quinn’s character thanks to Rupert’s fantastic performance.

@@haneefs666 I somewhat disagree, Pinkman was saved by Walter White(lead character) at the end, even if he was a traitor, Walter loved Jesse as a member of the family, but Carrie Mathison(lead) didn't love Peter Quinn, even as a friend, she totally ruined him. she just used him when she needed it.she was cruel. Peter’s storyline was good until episode 6 of season 5.the writers could have done better with his character. Peter could have been like the Jack Bauer/24.

Brilliant character. They Had to kill him because Rupert was shining so bright, that his plot was the most interesting one, putting aside Claire and Mandy's one. Of course this is my take on it, not the holy truth.

for me the character of Peter was very quickly reduced to a transient lover, a stooge of carrie when he would have deserved that we endeavor to develop these other relationships in particular with his son if not why mentioned that he is father and with Dar who is supposed to be a primordial element of his life and not just a pervert abusing a teenager !!! .... Given the character of Peter, Dar would have died long ago if their relationship boiled down to this! So stupid !!! but of course as Ganza himself recognized Peter and Dar already given too much shade to Saul and Carrie

0:16 'It’s not bad to have someone else on your side.'
Showtime needs to write and deliver Quinn Prequel Missions. Explore the character's background, further reveal Dar Adal's off the book hitmen. The house where Quinn had flashbacks to, in New York with the diner nearby. SHOWTIME--if you want to excite the fans with a jolt, NEW QUINN MATERIAL.
Peter Quinn was my favorite character. I was devastated when he was killed. His passion for his work and his love for Carrie were impossible. He faced so many insurmountable challenges for Saul, Dar Adal and Carrie. Honestly, I hoped he wouldn't die. The homeland is not the same without Quinn. I can honestly say that this is the only series I've seen that has moved me so much. I felt like I had lost a family member - Virgil, Brody, Fara, Max, Astrid.
Peter Quinn: Specialist of heavy weapons and heavy women!!!!
Out of all the badass spies I have seen over the years Peter Quinn is the most realistic one! I would have liked to see if Carrie would meet her match in Quinn. There were some romantic sparks between Peter and Carrie over the years, and there was the letter he left for her when he was leaving on a dangerous mission, the photo of her she found among his things after his death. Why do you think the romance between them never fully developed?
Because the writers weren’t interested in developing a romance between them... Unfortunately
We can say that Quinn was one of the best-built characters in history - alongside Carrie, Saul, Brody and Dar Adal... It would be possible to clarify the following doubts:
    - I would like to see Homeland reveal how the CIA explained Brody in Iran and his death to the American press. Clearly, Javadi being able to take credit for capturing Brody helped his cause in Iran, but did the US government reveal Brody's role in Akbari's murder?
Was his name cleared for the CIA attack? I'd love to know what you thought.
    - Another loose thread: Paul Franklin and the murder of the "real" CIA bomber. You just did that ... why ??
Carrie was publicly humiliated, beaten, doped, shot and put her life on the line countless times without hesitation, just to make others see Brody as she saw him ... and succeeded. Abu Nazir, the CIA, Jessica and the show's own audience, no one came close to seeing Brody with the clarity Carrie has always seen. Carrie has always read Brody like no one else.
Ah, Carrie's dialogue with Javadi was awesome, it will be one of the most memorable moments of the series, without a doubt:
"And what you wanted, which was for everyone to see in him what you see. That has happened. Everyone sees him through your eyes now ..."
    - How did Carrie see Brody? and how did the US come to see it? It's the world?
I will never forget Quinn, you never got the credit you really deserved. You miss it now and forever.

Why was Quinn's underutilization throughout season 3 after being critical at the start of season 2?
I don’t think Quinn was really underutilized in season three until the end, now that’s because he really had no role in concluding the Carrie/Brody saga so he was understandably sidelined.
