You soon forget the time and the struggles when you can actually get out and drive it. Within minutes behind the wheel the smile comes back and the swearing stops haha. Well done. Keep it up
With your kind of determination and patience, you could pass the London taxi knowledge in six months, but on the Porsche it’s self, you know the ins and outs of that car and I know that you will keep it in top notch🙏🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧🍺🍺
I'm very happy you stuck with it and got it done. I'm sure you found that as you got into doing these jobs your confidence started building and if you had to do that job again it would much faster and easier. I was very intimidated my 3.2 when I got it, but rolled my sleeves like you and got to it. After I learned the car inside and out there's just about nothing short of machine work that I can't do on it and you have that ability too. Enjoy the ride and the confidence that you control your own destiny with that car. Cheers.
Great news Shane, time to enjoy the fruits of all the testing moments and hard work you’ve put in! Have fun washing and polishing……….you just need to fix the English weather now 🤣 Steve from Norfolk
good job mate. what I did for similar leaks around the triangle of death I just dropped the motor. takes maybe 2 hours tops if you have not done it before and once you have done it once its easy. anything in a shit spot to repair i just drop the engine now. i can get it on the ground in less than an hour. If you havent done it before it can be a daunting task but you seem experienced enough to turn a wrench so you should easily be able to accomplish it
Yes thats why i have avoided it, the thought of doing it fills me with dread. No doubt it will end up coming out sooner or later! Thanks for the advice.
excellent work. love the old world air cooleds. presume you plugged that pressure sensor in, as at least in the edit looks like you installed then moved on 😊

Nice to see you got the leak sorted. How do you find the Quick Jacks? Could you do a video on them?
The quick jack is great, very easy to use, great hight level for a 'normal' garage. Might do a vid yes
Don’t worry about the time, just get it done. When it’s done you will have a great time with the car and the hassles won’t matter anymore.😊
Thanks for the encouragement

Another pro tip - put a bead of JB weld around that metal and red plastic junction on the pressure switch. The new ones are known to leak as well.
Ok, thanks for that
I thought that i could an air leak on the first start up.
Oh, ok, ill have a listen. Thanks

Newcomer to your channel - I have a 993. Could you post details of the lift you have in your garage, please? Thanks.
Yes no problem, quick-jack.co.uk, cant remember which version I got. Thanks for watching
Thanks.
Pipe clips not jubilee clips , there's a difference , pipe clips tighten around in a more uniform way.
Ok, good intel, i know what you mean
