Thanks for posting this video game BGM! Hiroyuki Iwatsuki is one of my favorite video game music composers, and while I had played and beat this game before via emulation, I had no idea he was the composer. No wonder I love this BGM. Thanks a lot!

    You're welcome! I'm glad it's appreciated. :)
This track is my favorite from the game, it was the first to really jump out at me.

@@quadpad_music I mean which library of sounds, idk the precise term, for example megaman uses 2A03 or something like that.

@@MichaelReyk OOOOOOH so you mean the soundchip. Soundchips of this era of music weren't precisely ''packs'' or ''libraries'', but rather hardware units with specific capabilities, such as limited timbres or amount of audio channels. The 2A03, which you've mentioned, is the NES's stock soundchip, and it's the only one used in this soundtrack.
Many NES cartridges included ''expansion chips'' in order to expand the console's limited capabilities. However, only the Famicom, Japanese edition of the NES, allowed for these to send audio data to the console. This led to some games (CastleVania III, Gimmick!, etc.) using extra audio channels in their Japanese releases, while using stock 2A03 only in the rest of the world.

@@quadpad_music ohh I see, in that case I like the style of megaman and mitsume ga tooru, also destiny of an emperor 2 menu theme is fantastic, I suppose every of these vgm were made only with 2a03
