Everyone keeps saying that this sounds like Bloodlines. I think it's really great and quite surprising that *this* game, of all games there are, inspired Castlevania music.
I think Double Dragon and Bad Dudes are great games on their own. Pure fun beat em ups that can be played over and over again. Final Fight was great too!
Me and my oldest bro would play this game without end, it's definitly in the top 3 of multiplayer games that we've completed together the most times. This song just explains how f*ckin' amazing the adventure to the final boss was and just how hard the game is, I love it! I was like 8 the first time we finished it and never stopped playing it with him through my life. I'm 26 now and soon I'm gonna take my kids on the same path their dad and uncle took...the president will never stop being saved!
Stuck in my head for the last 27 fuckin’ years. Couldn’t tell you a damn thing about the game other than something something George Bush, cheeseburger, and “IM BAD”
It's quite interesting to notice the NES version is better than the original arcade version, despite having only 3 channels (+ percussion). The theme is good, but the implementation for the NES is astounding.
I use to love this so much!!! Nes was the best system hands down so much heart put in these games when things mattered...Loved the Cover.....Made u want to get those games so bad back then!
You know, this sounds very similar to the music in the old Pokemon TCG game for Gameboy. It really feels like it could be a duel theme. Maybe the same folks made music for both.
this is one of the 43 nes games i own. it's probably my favorite even though i'm 19 and still can't beat it without cheats. yeah i wasn't even born when the game came out.
If Bad Dudes were made into a movie today it would immediately be more cult than The Warriors and Bad Trouble in Little China combined!!! Awesome!! Think about the premise-- 2 tough guys from NYC start beating up on evil ninjas to save the President!! Now THAT is a movie!! I would get noted action movie director John Woo to make it. If the movie had been made in the 80's it was clear that there were only 4 men bad enough to have been cast as the two Bad Dudes: choose from Stallone, Schwarzenneger, Lundgren, or Van Damme. Today, however, I'm not sure who could star as the two Bad Dudes since we really have a dearth of quality action movies these days. I'm thinking of some possible names: Vin Diesel, Michael Jai White, The Rock, Scott Adkins? Iko Uwais, Tony Jaa,??
"Bad Dudes with attitudes Ninjastookthepresident and that's just rude I'm down for a burger, don't mind to fight, fuck up a damn ninja with some ketchup alright"
@CrazedNinja Did Konami rip it off? I realized this for a while & started to do some digging but haven't found anything yet. I know the music in Bad Dudes changes, but the track/BGM titled Bloodlines from Rondo of Blood & Dracula X starts off so much like this.
It's amazing how much Data East and Taito influenced Mega Man fan game music (and MM9 and 10 music and Megamari). That music is totally different from what Mega Man music really sounded like back in the day, yet the similarities to this are striking.
Kinda makes you want to head out onto the streets, beat up endless hordes of evil twins, then raise your arms, look into the camera of life, and let out the ol' "I'RM BLARRRH!"
@explod2A03 Ah, okay bro. If you ever get the arcade version would you mind uploading it? Thanks for the NES version, I'm using this video to transcribe it.
This is one of the most underrated NES songs in history
Its actually one of the very few songs thats better than the arcade version of the song
Facts!
@@RadicalToys I wouldn't say that. I'd say arcade is better, but both are awesome.
100% agree saved this on my Playlist for sure
Boss theme 1 karnov. Did also robo cop 1 boulder dash how i know? The pause sound also they did werewolf the last warrior
richter belmont
*HYDRO STORM*
This theme is still a classic. Fighting on top of a semi truck against ninjas drinking cokes. Never gets old.
Out of the blue I couldn't get this tune out of my head, a game I last played like 30 years ago. So I just had to look it up.
Talk about staying power!
I feel the same way about the Whatchamacallit commercial. 👄
Thats crazy
2022 and I still hum it! lol!
This song track is more "BAD" ASS that the game itself!
Great track! Also sounds really cool in slower speeds.
Gotta love dem 8-bit drum fills
This track goes hard no matter how old it gets.
So bad ass nothing pumped me up more as kid than fighting ninjas on fucking truck in jogging pants and Chuck Taylor’s baby!!!
Everyone keeps saying that this sounds like Bloodlines. I think it's really great and quite surprising that *this* game, of all games there are, inspired Castlevania music.
Transylvania has been taken by Dracula, are you a bad enough Belmont to save it?
+Then00bhunt3r both you guys should check Fire Emblem fates- at the end of all roads
It really does sound like Richter's theme
This was years before bloodlines
@@bryanhenderson9479 That's why the OP said that it inspired Castlevania.
I think Double Dragon and Bad Dudes are great games on their own. Pure fun beat em ups that can be played over and over again. Final Fight was great too!
Double dragon had a kick ass rocking soundtrack! And I'm here responding to an 11 year of comment! Sweet haha...
👏🧐💯🥂
331Erock needs to cover this I can't imagine how awesome it would be.
This is my fav vgm melody along with Batman - Stage 1 Nes
Batman return of the Joker stage 1 and 3 are great tunes too
And check flying dragon's ost
This always gets me pumped up before a bar fight.
LOOL
*0.5x playback speedspeed* sounds like a private dance at *brothel*
This BGM theme made Bad Dudes famous. kick-ass theme. used to Jam to it while playing lol
This game came first so, if anything, it's "Bloodlines" that borrows from this song.
My favorite music,I used to have my friend play this just to hear the music
this is probably my fav theme off the game.
1 of the Best Nes song ever
They need to bring back this game Bad Dudes I miss this game
its 36 degrees out in europe at the moment somehow i feel like listening to this kind of music... real summer tunes
Well u got ur first like sir
@ripley4O77 A true gamer. Keeping classic games timeless from generation to generation. Thumbs up.

It's 7 years later now, lol, f*ck kids, definitely not feel like having those anymore, haha! I'm still saving that same President at age 33 though!!
Awesome soundtrack 1988 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Bad Dudes kicking ass and chilling with a cold beer and a hamburger.
Sounds very similar to the NES Batman boss theme.
Or, should I say that song sounds like this. I think this came out before.
Great tune, btw!
I prefer this more than the arcade version of the song which is rare, nintendo versions of multi platform games are pretty bad but thiis one is good
Now This Reminds Me Of Richter Belmont's Theme Music. Imagine If HE Was In This Game....
I'm Bad!! But I wonder, could these guys beat Bill and Jimmy Lee? Interested in seeing the classic 8-bit throwdown
You mean bimmy an jimmy?😂(snoogans)
Stuck in my head for the last 27 fuckin’ years. Couldn’t tell you a damn thing about the game other than something something George Bush, cheeseburger, and “IM BAD”
thanks for sharing this music, hd quality i was searching for it, i play this game in the 80s.
The only thing wrong with this is that I can only "Like it" once. Can we do something about that? This is serious business!
It's quite interesting to notice the NES version is better than the original arcade version, despite having only 3 channels (+ percussion). The theme is good, but the implementation for the NES is astounding.
Most kick ass song of all time.
I use to love this so much!!! Nes was the best system hands down so much heart put in these games when things mattered...Loved the Cover.....Made u want to get those games so bad back then!
I still can't find a cover with the flutter/trills at around 0:38
0:13 Richter Belmont?
First NES game I owned aside from mario. One of the best NES soundtracks.
So excited that this is going to be remixed in Smash U!
I use to play this game at the arcade years ago...Man, this brings back so much memories, but the theme songs for the NES is better by far =)
This comment has been downvoted by ninjas.
Are you a bad enough dude to +1 it?
HELL YEAH! :D
I'M BAD!
I'll be your +1.
(No homo.) 😀
*NES quality scratchy audio* I'M BAD!
**insert Michael Jackson*
BECAUSE I'M BAD, I'M BAD, YOU KNOW IT
Amazing game time go very fast i remember playing this game like 20 years ago
You know, this sounds very similar to the music in the old Pokemon TCG game for Gameboy.
It really feels like it could be a duel theme. Maybe the same folks made music for both.
i aint gonna lie i have a huge soft spot for this game.
this is one of the 43 nes games i own. it's probably my favorite even though i'm 19 and still can't beat it without cheats. yeah i wasn't even born when the game came out.
Ticket inspector: Tickets please!
(Soundtracks plays)
-Get on top of the train.
They should make a movie of this. But who could make badass enough. Not like ninja assasin Sho Kosugi getting weak

I'M BAD!
Game that Picture was so Tight! Loved NINTENDO! Covers were the best. Made you def. want to buy that game..
"Bad Dudes with attitudes
Ninjastookthepresident and that's just rude
I'm down for a burger, don't mind to fight,
fuck up a damn ninja with some ketchup alright"
I can't decide! The next time I ride atop of a truck if I want this theme to play or Super DD lv. 4 hahaha
Man this stage awesome! The music was great.
Excelent game and song :)
Absolute belter
Are you BAD ENOUGH to click the LIKE button?
the best part begins on 0:35 :D
1 of the times the 8bit chip was better than the more powerful arcade tune.
memorieees :)
Game might of stank but that soundtrack! Also how badass to fight on a truck with your game's name on it!
I'm hearing a little bit of Heian Alien in there :3c
O.O I hear it, yes!
dude this song is so fucking METAL!!!!
@CrazedNinja

This game was out for five years before Rondo of Blood was released. So if anything, Bloodlines sounds like this, not the other way around.
Sick love this BGM
Right in my childhood!!! 😍🥰😘
Yes.
It's amazing how much Data East and Taito influenced Mega Man fan game music (and MM9 and 10 music and Megamari). That music is totally different from what Mega Man music really sounded like back in the day, yet the similarities to this are striking.

I've always wanted to cover the stage 2 music
XD the first one is I think where youre on a train and ninjas are throwing shurikens at you and jumping on the platform to attack you.
You GO BOYEe!
Memories of hurricane kicking ninjas off the moving truck priceless!
They composed also boulder dash, robo cop 1 and turbo racing
3 dudes are simply not bad enough to rescue the President.
game overthinker FTW!
PeterPhoneCam diabetus
@Renma2010 i totally came here just to say that, it sounds exactly the same!
I'M BAD!!!
I guess drinking cola before a fight is a good idea.
If punching people in the face had a theme song, it would be this.
Way better than the arcade's sound track
The president has been kidnapped by ninjas. are you enough of a BAD DUDE to save him?
*dances like a Bad Dude*
@DollarAtheist you know what? I can see that, like for the Turbo Tunnels.
Are you Bad Enought to replay This
Sounds like a remixed Contra to me
Remember the half ass hurricane kick... When pressed AB. Haha
Yes, Tradewest made Double Dragon, Battletoads and the like.
I am a bad enough dude to rescue the president.
American really likes Bad Dudes :)
JAJAJA OLD TIMES
I became a truck drivers just to play this while I’m going down the highway
"SKI-BI-DI-BI-DI-BADA-BI-DUBADUBA"
@explod2A03 Ah, okay bro. If you ever get the arcade version would you mind uploading it? Thanks for the NES version, I'm using this video to transcribe it.
I'm a good dude...
I'm going to say that the NES improves on the arcade in music. It's actually more impactful
Extended version pl0x?
@wtcvidman i was watching a playtrhough of this game to see how good it was, and i noticed too. sounds weird
or the song from the truck stage in Super Double Dragon
If Chuck Norris had background music, this would be it. :D
@Renma2010 Now one can only hope that someone'll put Richter in a Bad Dudes ROM hack. :D :D
ok thx lol
