I like the way the pad man maintains an orthodox stance. There's a myth that when taking a southpaw on the pads you "should accommodate the boxer" and the pad man goes southpaw. Unless your next opponent is a southpaw then it's far better for the boxer to hit the pads while the pad man maintains an orthodox stance.
It's not a myth. But when pad holder is experienced and know what he's doing that really doesn't matter
