I think many missed the point of why Seo Yul was planning on killing Naksu. It wasn’t bc of the blood worm nor bc he was some sort of scorned lover. It was as he said in the episode: regrets. He’d already experienced what it was like when both Jang Uk and Naksu were together…it led to both of their deaths along with many others. To prevent that from happening again, Seo Yul planned to kill her. In doing so, he could at least save Jang Uk and the world. And sure, he could’ve just killed her and lived, but to Seo Yul, a world without her in it would be unbearable bc he loved her hence this is why he also wanted to die with her.
Because in First part he did not kill naksu. He knew he must kill every single soulshifter.. Whoever they are.. Even naksu. He promised to himself before.
One question can uk live without naksu ? He regretted that he couldn't protect naksu in 1 season if yul kill naksu is it tolerable for uk to see naksu die again ! What about uk who already wish for dieing
Especially since he had met her a lot of times, and knew she was an assassin but he was feigning ignorance because of his feelings, and in season 2 he always talked about his regrets. He loves her, but he knows the consequences if it was known that naksu is still alive.
Seo Yul was want to sacrifice himself and Naksu together, he plan to kill them both together for the sake of the world and for the sake of his love. I actually will love that ending also, if both of them die together like Romeo and Juliet, somehow they deserved to be together, they falling for each other first far before Naksu met Jang Uk.
Everyone saying that Yul is the hero that would sacrifice his love to save the world..but the truth is Yul wouldn't let Naksu to die alone without him.. He planed to die together with Naksu at their memorial place...ㅠㅠ
I feel so bad for Yul. I just wanted him to be happy and I figured So-i would be the only opportunity for that. Now he’s gonna have one more thing to regret and feel guilty about. I’m glad he never got around to killing Naksu. I get he thinks he’s doing the right thing but he just needs to tell Uk what he knows. Everyone just needs to communicate and that would literally solve the entire plot of this season.
Janguk and naksu is literally the quote "the villain will sacrifice the world for you" while yul and nakus is "the hero would sacrifice you to save the world"

If only he killed Naksu when he found out about her identity, Jang Uk wouldn't have killed himself, Danggu wouldn't have his wedding ruined etc. Yul stop living in regrets ㅠㅠ let's just move on and be happy

Also usually soul shifter will lose control and hurt other people which is dangerous so they must catch those soul shifters to avoid the same thing that happened before. Watch season 1 ep 1 to understand more. But basically because of soul shifters there was chaos and many people died. So like it or not soul shifters must be catched to save the world. Yul couldn’t catch Naksu before even though he knows about it and regrets it because Naksu (Mudeok) lost control and “killed” Jang Uk so it’s his responsibility to kill Naksu (Buyeon) since she wasn’t supposed to be alive bcs her body died and she is soul shifting into Buyeon’s body. truly the hero will kill you to protect the world which is why he isn't the main lead.. i really thought he wanted to bring her with him to the fortress and save her rather than kill her this entire time, but the man is too righteous. i am still hoping he survives honestly even though so-i is selfish i wanted them to fall in love, but i guess not now 😭
I think the blood parasite is also causing him to go crazy and which will eventually kill him at any moment. At one point lady jin was saying about that. So i think, that is one part the reason that he wants to kill Naksu 'so badly' apart from having regrets for not killing her at first when he recognized her (part 1). The blood parasite is making him do the things he wanted without even having any second thoughts because of the pain and all.
For me honestly ive never expected their chemistry to be this so strong! I really like somi in season 1 but i didnt really feel a strong chemistry she had with Minhyun and Yuseol as a character so back then i straightly shipped Jaewok and Somi and their characters as Janguk and Naksu... But here, Omg!! Go yoon jungs chemistry with Minhyun is so strong and For the first time i shipped their characters!! like i cant help it when in season i never did!!.. Freaky Friday kinda thing but in a wizard/magical world. Naksu is a person (heroin), she’s an assasin and wanted to avenge her father’s death. Mudeok is a blind woman but she’s actually Buyeon, the daughter of Jinyowon who was lost before. Fight and chase thing happened between Naksu and the Songrim people so Naksu soul shifted into someone’s body which is Mudeok. Mudeok= Buyeon’s body + Naksu’s soul In season 2 Mudeok died but the body was recovered by Jinyowon. To save her daughter Buyeon aka Mudeok’s body, they had to use Naksu’s soul inside Buyeon’s body. Basically Buyeon= Buyeon’s body + Naksu’s soul, but to avoid Buyeon losing control like most soul shifters, Buyeon’s body changes/look like Naksu’s body. So Buyeon= Naksu’s soul + Naksu’s appearance.
I don't think Seo Yul will die. In ep 7 preview, Jin buyeon touches injured seoyul so i believe she will regain the memories she spent with him. As Lady Jin told a bird is needed to kill blood parasite. I think buyeon uses her power on that bird flute and heals him with that. This is my theory .. but not sure the bird is fire bird/bird flute😅😅😅.

It does make sense cause that’s not Naksu’s original body it is Buyeon’s. Are you watching the show? Naksu’s original form is as tall as Park Jin (EP 1 fight scene) and Naksu is taller than Jin Mu. Her built was different in her original body, she was bigger and taller that’s why Jin Mu couldn’t seem to grasp why ‘Jin Buyeon’ looks exactly like Naksu but doesn’t have the same body type as her.

Naksu's body has training and is agile and capable while BY's original body is called dainty, weak, and fragile. It's like comparing someone that plays sports/trains for boxing wrestling whatnot to someone who just walks around without much movement. In season 1 they talk about Mudeok's small short legs and stuff so they want us to basically imagine Somin but with her face replaced. Also some people stop growing height in middle school.

Major difference between Uk and Yul is how they would act for love and the world. Yul would kill and die together with his beloved to save the world. But Uk would choose to die to save his beloved and the world.

There is simply no clear development moving forward to the plot of Part 2, In part 1 there is so much character development & interesting plot- Uk’s acceptance of his heritage & getting his power/ energy, Mudeok/ Naksu’s discovery of herself, their bickering and love against the world, Yul’s discovery of her long lost love, and Prince’s discovery of his love for Mudeok. They travel to different places like Dangyangkok, Songrim, Lake, Sari Village etc. In part 2- the plot is so dragging and boring- Yul & Uk’s characters are developed and concluded. All are just revolving the amnesia of Buyeon/Naksu,--NO character development. NO new characters-NO new places-NO scary villains. Everything is just remnants of the plots of the part 1. NOTHING IS NEW, nothing is being discovered. NOTHING is being developed. Its like they are stretching the show so slow without other clear plot line other than waiting for Buyeon’s recovery of her memory.
He would have killed Naksu, if So i didn't need his help. He is slowly being driven mad by regret, guilt, and pain from the blood parasite. He was also going to kill his friend's wife so let him die and hope for a happy ending for uk and naksu.
I like Yul but c'mon find another way all ur doing is hurting UK all over again and being selfish at the same time with his thoughts of murder suicide, it should be left to UK to decide Naksu fate IMO....Also what a great series hoping for a happy ending.
The plot and characters have poor development. Even the romance is poorly written. I wonder if they changed writers or if the writers decided to give up. . It's upsetting that they knew there was going to be a season 2 but they half assed it. I don't think I will finish this season. I'm upset that they changed Yul and Crown Prince's character. When did Yul hold such a big grudge towards Naksu?? The sudden change in his character was so random. If they were going to make him evil, at least do better at making him evil. The same goes for the Crown Prince. If the Crown Prince was going to be bitter towards Jang UK, they should've spent more time writing about it in the earlier episodes of part 2. There are too many loop holes in this season
Actually they didn't change his character. He doesn't hold a grudge towards Naksu, he thinks he needs to kill her to prevent bad things happening again. He isn't meant to be evil, rather he's doing things for the greater good. You're the one who doesn't understand that part. Also the crown prince was clearly manipulated by Jin Mu, and this season proves he doesn't hate Uk. He wants to make it up to him, and he even doesn't want to tell him the truth (that he is the reason Mu deok died) because he will hate him for that. That's the reason why he's so hung up on why Uk would take care of his turtle, lol. You've misinterpreted everything. Most of it has been written in character and continues from the threads of season 1. The only inconsistent thing is Naksu. She's so different from how Mu deok acts that its hard to believe its the same character.

Naksu and yul is best couple.....the writer is bad.
There is simply no clear development moving forward to the plot of Part 2, In part 1 there is so much character development & interesting plot- Uk’s acceptance of his heritage & getting his power/ energy, Mudeok/ Naksu’s discovery of herself, their bickering and love against the world, Yul’s discovery of her long lost love, and Prince’s discovery of his love for Mudeok. They travel to different places like Dangyangkok, Songrim, Lake, Sari Village etc.
In part 2- the plot is so dragging and boring- Yul & Uk’s characters are developed and concluded. All are just revolving the amnesia of Buyeon/Naksu,--NO character development. NO new characters-NO new places-NO scary villains. Everything is just remnants of the plots of the part 1. NOTHING IS NEW, nothing is being discovered. NOTHING is being developed. Its like they are stretching the show so slow without other clear plot line other than waiting for Buyeon’s recovery of her memory.

He would have killed Naksu, if So i didn't need his help. He is slowly being driven mad by regret, guilt, and pain from the blood parasite. He was also going to kill his friend's wife so let him die and hope for a happy ending for uk and naksu.
I like Yul but c'mon find another way all ur doing is hurting UK all over again and being selfish at the same time with his thoughts of murder suicide, it should be left to UK to decide Naksu fate IMO....Also what a great series hoping for a happy ending.

The plot and characters have poor development. Even the romance is poorly written. I wonder if they changed writers or if the writers decided to give up. . It's upsetting that they knew there was going to be a season 2 but they half assed it. I don't think I will finish this season. I'm upset that they changed Yul and Crown Prince's character.
When did Yul hold such a big grudge towards Naksu?? The sudden change in his character was so random. If they were going to make him evil, at least do better at making him evil. The same goes for the Crown Prince. If the Crown Prince was going to be bitter towards Jang UK, they should've spent more time writing about it in the earlier episodes of part 2. There are too many loop holes in this season

Actually they didn't change his character. He doesn't hold a grudge towards Naksu, he thinks he needs to kill her to prevent bad things happening again. He isn't meant to be evil, rather he's doing things for the greater good. You're the one who doesn't understand that part. Also the crown prince was clearly manipulated by Jin Mu, and this season proves he doesn't hate Uk. He wants to make it up to him, and he even doesn't want to tell him the truth (that he is the reason Mu deok died) because he will hate him for that. That's the reason why he's so hung up on why Uk would take care of his turtle, lol. You've misinterpreted everything. Most of it has been written in character and continues from the threads of season 1. The only inconsistent thing is Naksu. She's so different from how Mu deok acts that its hard to believe its the same character.
Yup, you should just stop watching since you're incapable of understanding it.
Better watch children shows that match your level of comprehension.
