Actually she was the original naksu on the S1 1st episode before she chose mudeok’s body. The only difference in S1 naksu’s face was so min and living in the body of naksu which was GYJ.

Viewers knew she's the original Naksu but they can't accept that Somin won't be in S2 as the plot gonna be different. But the bittersweet they have to accept is Lee Jaewook looks more comfortable with Go Younjung compared to Jung Somin.

Somin never left the show, her character Mudeok has ended on season 1. Its all up to the writers point of view and it shows on season 2 Naksu real face and soul is still living inside Buyeon/Mudeok body. And besides Jang Uk is in love with Naksu soul not Mudeok, she was just a vessle.
Go Younjung totally best! She deserves all the happiness and loves. Top notch acting and chemistry with Jaewook. Our the OG Naksu. Let’s walk on flowery path together!💕
It's Go Yoon Jung that made me hooked at the beginning. I'm such a strong and badass FL sucker so kinda disappointed that we only saw a few scenes from her in Part 1. Nevertheless, I still continue and finished Part 1 coz I was intrigued by the plot (tho I skipped some scenes). Finally, I'm so happy that she's back as the main FL in part 2! Go Yoon Jung is such an amazing actress and a beauty 😭❤️
Yeah. I love the former actress in other shows, but this new one just fits the show better acting and visual wise. Could not fully watch each ep in s1 but watching s2 in full so far

Best casts ever! I super love Go Yoonjung as Naksu/Jin Buyeon. She has so much chemistry with Jaewook/Jang Uk. Excellent and effective acting & I'm already in ep. 4, my heart flutters everytime they have a scenes together. This season is not finish yet but I love it if it will have S3 with the same lead characters.

Call me insane but I rewatched it after 3 days of completing it. I just love everything about this series, from plot, transition of characters, and especially the cast. I had low expectations for Season 2, as sequels rarely maintain the momentum of the original, but this season truly excelled in every way. They took the story to another level. And having Go Youngjung take over the role of Naksu, Mudeok, Jin Buyeon was absolutely right given the development of the story. Congratulations to the writers for a great story and the cast for excellent execution.
Lee jae wook seems so done with Shin Seungho's flirting and almost promoting their ghostship "Broken couple" was such a mood here...🤣🤣🤣..l totally loved their conversations... Sister, mudeok is Jin bu yeon.. there's no mudeok from the first episode.. its Jin bu yeon.. also jin bu yeon never play her role.. its Naksu. So from the first episode until now, Naksu is the female lead.. Master Lee cant save 2 soul in 1 body, Jin bu yeon soul is weak, Naksu survive.. And finally Naksu take back her body & her soul ( indeed she forget her pass, but it will back soon ).. So, we cant beggin' chaka-nim to united the cast of S1 & 2, Because Mudeok & Jin bu yeon not real.. 😊😊😊
How? Logically, how would you see naksu and mudeok in one frame? You want the dead real mudeok? Or the mudeok that was actually Jin buyeon? Or do you want the mudeok that he fell in love with who was actually naksu in buyeon's body? Please use logic to explain how it would work
that would be impossible considering the fact that naksu and mudeok are the same person, naksu is inside of jinbuyeons body but naksu's soul took over her body which made buyeon look more like naksu, but it could happen if the writers get high and give buyeon a twin sister

Such a long time has passed but my eyes still get watery when I remember the ending of the first season 😞 I’ve never cried so much over a kdrama before and I couldn’t get over it for weeks💔 and even now while watching the first two episodes I cried throughout because it so sad to see Uk and everyone change so much 😢I hope my shuttered heart will be back to one again after this season…
AOS is the best show I've seen in a long time. Season 3 please! This group of actors is fantastic. Love the cast, the story, the locations, sets and costumes, hair and makeup.

I had low expectations for Season 2, as sequels rarely maintain the momentum of the original, but this season truly excelled in every way. They took the story to another level. And having Go Youngjung take over the role of Naksu, Mudeok, Jin Buyeon was absolutely right given the development of the story. Congratulations to the writers for a great story and the cast for excellent execution.

Sister, mudeok is Jin bu yeon.. there's no mudeok from the first episode.. its Jin bu yeon.. also jin bu yeon never play her role.. its Naksu. So from the first episode until now, Naksu is the female lead.. Master Lee cant save 2 soul in 1 body, Jin bu yeon soul is weak, Naksu survive..
And finally Naksu take back her body & her soul ( indeed she forget her pass, but it will back soon )..
So, we cant beggin' chaka-nim to united the cast of S1 & 2,

How? Logically, how would you see naksu and mudeok in one frame? You want the dead real mudeok? Or the mudeok that was actually Jin buyeon? Or do you want the mudeok that he fell in love with who was actually naksu in buyeon's body? Please use logic to explain how it would work
that would be impossible considering the fact that naksu and mudeok are the same person, naksu is inside of jinbuyeons body but naksu's soul took over her body which made buyeon look more like naksu, but it could happen if the writers get high and give buyeon a twin sister

Such a long time has passed but my eyes still get watery when I remember the ending of the first season 😞 I’ve never cried so much over a kdrama before and I couldn’t get over it for weeks💔 and even now while watching the first two episodes I cried throughout because it so sad to see Uk and everyone change so much 😢I hope my shuttered heart will be back to one again after this season…
AOS is the best show I've seen in a long time. Season 3 please! This group of actors is fantastic. Love the cast, the story, the locations, sets and costumes, hair and makeup.

Jebal make it episode 16 ! I can’t get enough of this series ! I love all the actors who played their characters excellently! And the visual effects ! It can be compare to Hollywood ! To all PDnims , if you won’t make episodes 16 just make another Season ! I don’t mind waiting again as long as I have something to look forward (even if its kill me to wait for another week or even a day for an episode for this part 2)

Today's the last day of season 2 . AOS2 was both my stress reliever and stress giver .
From part 1 until now, this drama makes me curious about the next episode. It took several months to wait part 2 but still loved it so much.
After months of waiting for part 2, the following episodes are still unpredictable just like in part 1

i decided to watch alchemy of souls bcz of go yoonjung, was sad she didn't appear much in season 1 but thankfully she can appear fully in season 2
i love the Second season and the excellent actress, very good chemistry and she is very Beautiful, both actreesses are excellent.

was hoping the main cast wld pick yin and yang jades and give us some spoilers on that but I’m satisfied with whatever they had given us in this interview as well 🤭 and i can’t help but think the big witness they speak of could be somin!! 😂😱 its a nice touch but i just hope they could bring somin back as a flashback instead of casting her as a new character. well gotta wait for sat to see what actually happens excited!! can’t wait!! 😆🙈
If it isn't flashback, maybe the real JBY'soul a.k.a JSM will appear and at least give proper explanation about her death and say goodbye to us. Like when she explain inside the 🌪 about the real power of ice stone.
