Honestly, one of the reason why I'm so hooked with this drama is bcoz of Somins chemistry with all of the guys. Like, I don't even mind if whoever she's going to end up with. But then they replaced Somin in S2 which is so heartbreaking. 🥺

@@daphney2126 it's part 2. After part 1 end with 20 episode, there's gonna be another part where they dig deeper about the character history. Since it's a backstory so the 'real' Naksu will appear, not Mudeok. So part 1 which is currently airing is the present story while part 2 is the past story. That's why we wouldn't see Mudeok or Jung Somin in part 2.

Honestly if Jung SoMin doesn't come back for Season 2 then the overall vibe of the show is going to take a /big/ hit. She has amazing chemistry with JaeWook, MinHyun, and SeungHo and that's truly veeeeeery rare to find. Chemistry is just one of those things you cannot work around. You either have it or you don't, and this cast has it in spades.

I just started watching Alchemy of Souls like last week and I’m already on Part 2: Episode 1. I’ve fallen so in love with Hwang Minhyun. The song “Just watching you” moves me every time I hear it. My heart strings get pulled every time. I was rooting more for him and Jung So-min to end up together😭😭 Also Naksu was such a badass!!! I really loved her character
