this is how i feel right now. i just started part 2 yesterday and i got really sad. i was also surprised she is the same age as i am but look so young. the story as to why they changed to a different face also didn't make any sense. while the now actress is also amazing, i feel like their connection is not there at all.
This pairing is like a chef's kiss in drama history🏆 I kind of understand why somin literally acts like she knows nothing about him. Jaewook is braver in that sense because him guessing answers means his respect to a senior, which in return, somin kinda wants to protect her image in order to prevent some kind of gossip or shipping of fans, especially considering his age, me thinks, which is very reasonable when you think about how unhealthy some fans can be 🙄 I respect both of them and love their acting in the drama. I hope to see them together in a comedy in the future!🥰
I’ve been really enjoying Alchemy of Souls - the cinematography, acting and characters are great! I really liked So Min in Because this is My First Life. She’s a great actress, and that ended up being one of my favorite kdramas due in part to how real and relatable her character felt. So I started watching this one for her and she didn’t disappoint. 😅

I do really like their tandem as Jang Uk and Mudeok in Alchemy of Souls Season 1. That’s why I miss Mudeok’s role in Season 2. A bit disappointed.
